Drove pass and decided to try this cafe . First thing I had problem was parking , there were parking available but the car space are so tight I has a hard time getting out of my car let alone how someone can get into theirs . Other than that the cafe has simple decor but nice , it was overlooking out to pittwater and Scotland island , certainly a great place to sit relax and have breakfast or lunch. The food was good nothing too fancy but enough. I would go back again if I can overlook the parking part.

This café has a lot going for it – a location right on the water (and some tables actually out on the wharf), free and plentiful parking right out front (unlike the pricey and overrun car parks down at Church Point), great staff, and wonderful food. We were delighted at just how good the dishes here were – the Asian-style salads and whole fish in particular were superb. Food was brought out fast, and the staff were superb dealing with a range of dietary requirements.

Fantastic spot and great food and coffee! We had breakfast here for the first time and would highly recommend the omelettes on the breakfast menu which we had today. Seating is available right on the marina, and with very professional and friendly staff, particularly Melvin who looked after us today, Marina Cafe has a lovely atmosphere to go with the great food and coffee and we will be back again for sure.

Yes beautiful location but not a great vibe. I understand that you have your regular customers but don't forget that there are people who are first time visitors and should be treated with the same friendliness. My partner and I sat at our table for 5 minutes and no one offered menus or table water and so I got up and looked for a staff member for menus. Once they gave them to me, my partner and I decided what we wanted and then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes for someone to take notice of us let alone to take our order. It was not until I was close to getting up and walking out that a gentleman who worked there (who seemed to be a manager of some sort) communicated with a staff member to take our order. The wait staff took their sweet time to come to our table and then with attitude (which was prevalent on her face that she didn't want to be there) took our order. This place was recommended by my mother who is a regular and who is also friends with a staff member and now feels very sheepish on recommending it to us. It wasn't all negative though, the food was very good and the gentleman who ended up taking our money was quite pleasant. I have been working in Hospitality for 15 years and I know good service when I see it and unfortunately this place needs to remind their staff on what...

Can recommend this cafe, we are interstate visitors and booked online. Jess, who answered our questions via emails, and delivered what we expected. The food was delicious mains ,menue small but adequate for our needs. Our blonde ? Maitre de( sorry I can not remember your name) , gave her recommendations when asked and she was spot on with both mains and deserts. Shoulder of lamb,so tender it fell apart with a fork, scallop and pork belly, very well received, whilst my sister loved the duck salad. Many times the hero is the scenery and the food an afterthought, not so here, the food is equal to the view The young male waitperson was cheerful and professional. A passing employee saw my husband was having a little trouble getting into our car and immediately stopped to assist in a respectful not patronising manner. Unlike some places we did not feel rushed which enabled us to chat while we were not ooing . I wonder why in this time when cash us not welcome why there is still a 1.5 surcharge for credit cards. Not a cheap place but my Sydney based family have added it to their list of places to return. Thank you for...

Stopped here for a late breakfast, and just in time to order the last of breakfast order, ordered a Corn fritters which was delicious ( crispy on the outside and moist inside) , following my timing they also had the lunch menu available and got my self a Duck salad as recommended by one of the friendly service staff which was really fresh and flavour some with summer delights like watermelon, bean sprouts and mint to name a few ingredients ( would recommend surely) and last but not the least got a pan fried fish and Moroccan eggplant as a side ( a few sides to choose from) , the fish was beautifully cooked with crispy skin and the moroccan eggplant was nicely done too and one last thing the coffee was amazing! Overall had a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting The Marina Cafe, beautiful water views, friendly staff and great food, thankyou guys for the...
