The owner of the cafe provided very poor hospitality to my group of friends & I. We came in on Mothers day as walk in. The owner greeted us with a set of rules we must abide by. Order quickly, sit for 45min and do not go over as she explained, 'I have customers who will be coming for next service who paid a deposit & I am trying to accomodate you.' I felt guilty for wanting a nice lunch with a view. The family owners were 3 that day, mum,dad & daughter. Each provides a different level of bad hospitality to us. I requested we relocate to empty table closer to water view. Daughter lectures me making me feel ashamed for asking, she speaks sternly to me and proceeds to explain its for 6 not 7 as our group was 7. When I got back to my group we had someone leave early so we are 6, since we fit criteria I move to table with view. She then walks to us with no pleasantries or assumption that with discussion issue can be resolved. She actually approaches us with stern talking down saying 'i actually didnt say you could move here, you cannot be here, we have a reservation coming in 35min, I was referring to a smaller table further outside.' i tried to discuss with her what is our options at this stage, she cuts me off rudely, talks over me each time I speak. So I feel stressed, I feel she doesnt want to discuss or compromise or hear what customer wants. In fact customer must behave per her needs as we are even lucky to be acknowledged by this place at all. I feel very stressed and I do not have appetite by this stage. I said its misunderstanding i understood it was this table. so she responds, 'if you understood correctly you would know its not this table'. so now it feels we are fighting, I feel we are inconveniencing this place, i feel disrespected in front of my good friends, the environment is sour and in fight like mood. The hospitality does not exist here by owners, the regular staff were friendly & helpful. We had togo back to original table in shed like box were musicians normally work, the only reason we finished our food here as its a long distance to come here we are hungry and no available venues nearby. The father proceeds to hover over us and shake his head throughout our meal. Close to the commanded cut off time for us the mother starts opening back door of shed to indicate time to leave. I am shocked owners behave this way, do not come here for pleasant mood maybe try...

recently dined at the Waterfrontstore that specializes in all things but the pizza and pasta’s were excellent, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The food was fantastic, and the flavours were absolutely delightful.

Starting with the pizza, it was everything I could have hoped for. The crust was perfectly cooked , just the way I like it. The toppings were generous and fresh, and the cheese was gooey and flavorful. I tried the margherita pizza and it was a classic done right. The combination of the simple tomato sauce, fresh basil, and mozzarella was heavenly. I also had the opportunity to try their specialty pizza with various meats and vegetables, and it was equally delicious. The flavors blended seamlessly, and each bite was a taste sensation.

Also there is section called “around the world on the menu” in this section of the menu they have the most amazing sizzling plates! Wow!

Moving on to the pasta, I opted for the classic penne Napoletana. It was cooked to perfection, with the pasta al dente and the sauce flavoursome and rich. The balance of the flavors was spot-on!The portion size was generous, and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. It had a rustic charm warm lighting and an amazing canopy of living plants flowing down above us! The overall atmosphere created a relaxed and inviting environment, perfect for a casual meal with friends or a romantic date night overhanging on the beautiful waterway of pittwater

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving great pizza and pasta. The food is exceptional, the service is top-notch, and the ambiance is delightful. Whether you're a pizza lover or a pasta aficionado, this place is sure to satisfy your cravings.

This scenic waterfront eatery that is known for serving delectable cuisine is The Waterfront Store & Cafe Church Point, this restaurant offers stunning views of Pittwater ,with boats and yachts...

I have stopped by here for a couple of times for scenic drive/ride. When you walk into the store, it looks like an ordinary grocer with a canteen-like kitchen for local food and coffee. However don't judge the book by its cover. Walk further into the store and ask to be seated for coffee/food. You will be amazed by the view at their eating area. There have 2nd floor for function too. Have to say their water view overlooking the water and Scotland Island is stunning and very relaxing for a weekend getaway although its not too remote from the city. The service are great and speedy. Didn't have any problem with our orders. I've tried their Waterfront Burger, Fettuccine Polpette and Grilled Salmon (catch of the day)....they are all brilliant. Decent amount of portion, well presented and delicious. However its not cheap too. It's probably around $30-40 per head. During Winter, the area is completed sealed by transparent plastic curtains with blankets and heaters sufficient provided within the premise. Hence you don't feel any chill at all although its right next to the sea. Very nice and comforting. Tips: the parking spot is quite limited although there's a new and larger parking lot just around the corner.

The Waterfront General Store and Cafe is a charming little spot that marries good food with a serene ambience. It’s my little hidden piece of paradise that I escape to for a relaxing meal and scenic views of Pittwater. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We shared their signature Tasting Plate for Two and their Antipasto Board - with home made meatballs in sauce, grilled prawns, smoked salmon, oysters olives, cured meats and cheeses I felt for a moment I was back in Sicily. Their Spaghetti alle vongole and Chilli Prawn pizza was amazing -Almost too good to eat! Can’t wait to go back and try some new things on their menu. I noticed a lot of diners ordering the new Sizzler plates - they looked amazing and you could hear the ‘sizzle’ when the staff walked past with them. A must try, hidden treasure tucked away in a beautiful part of The Northern Beaches.
