Viet Truck is a bright lime green and very noticeable Vietnamese food truck you'll find parked in a front yard of a home in Canley Heights. It's a short drive away from the main shopping strip, but those that live closeby swear by it because of the good food and prices. While I was eating, I saw a lot of parents with their kids and even the more elderly locals come by to take away several meals each. Tony runs the food truck with his parents and relatives. They've actually been in the food truck game for years, operating a weekend food truck at the Fairfield Showgrounds (where I first found them actually) and other local markets like the Casula Bizarre. "We like to keep prices affordable for the community," Tony told me, "even though we only open until 7pm every day here due to council regulations (operating in a residential area), many mums and dads come to buy takeaway right after work to feed the kids". They have bowls of pho for $12 (albeit a slightly smaller serving size to restaurants), and grilled pork over either rice or vermicelli noodles for $10! Personally, I'd indulge in the dáș·c biệt special combination versions of the pork chop rice and the the vermicelli noodles though. Slightly more expensive but still priced under $15 and the toppings were tasty! Having visited a few times now, my favourite order order is the combination vermicelli which comes with crispy rice paper spring rolls, grilled pork and sugarcane prawn. A healthy pour of nuoc cham fish sauce over the bowl and the pickled salads inside give the vermicelli bowl it's flavour. Then I'd order extra spring rolls and Bo la lot (grilled betel leaf beef) to eat with it too. The beef is a must really. It's seasoned really well, and the betel leaf wrapping has a crispy texture, almost like seaweed, which was a nice change from others I've tried! 📍Viet Truck,...

If you’re driving past this food truck, stopping here is an absolute must! The food quality is simply outstanding—some of the best I have ever tasted. Having lived in the area for 17 years, I can confidently say this is hands down the best food I’ve had. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re ever nearby, do yourself a favour and stop by—you won’t regret it! This food truck has become my go-to spot whenever I’m hungry. Thank you for consistently providing such fantastic, delicious food. You guys are...

Delicious food always! Tony and the team are always hospitable and always make us feel like eating at home. Mums chicken wings are a must have and of course the pho (beef noodle soup) and banh bo hue. Best thing coming in with a group of friends or family is you can order a mix of dishes, try and share everything! Highly recommended! We came for dinner last night and again tonight! This is how much we love the food 😀

I travelled from Beverly Hills to try this after seeing my friends posting on social media. This is the tastiest Vietnamese food I have ever tasted!!! I tried everything, their pho, chicken wings, their beef and pork in betel leaves, and large and mini spring rolls!! All was 10/10!! Will come back here every week if I can - simply the best !!
