While the renovations are still happening, it's a little bit chaotic but it's all coming together quite well. The new car park is great. It's five levels and is located directly next to the club, so it's easy to park and head right in. If you live close and need to get a membership, it's only $15 for four years. Sign up only takes a couple of minutes. The large plaza dining area is excellent too. You can order from any of the restaurants including a traditional grill menu, a pizza place, a desert bar and a Chinese place. All the food looks really good. The pizza looks amazing. I'll be getting one of those next time! We had the fish and the steak sandwich. We also got garlic knots from the pizza place. The fish was perfect. So moist. The salad was pretty lame and covered in a bit of a gross mayonnaise. The chips were just regular chips, despite the fact that the menu said "steak fries". The steak sandwich was good, though the avocado that was served on the bread was a little under ripened. One of the garlic knots we got was a bit burnt. On a Friday night the whole club is very busy, however the service is incredibly fast despite this. They have live music in the main bar near the poker machines too. The staff are very attentive and very helpful. I found all service people very keen to clean tables and help patrons to find seating. There are plenty of big screens for watching the sports in the main dining area too. Alternatively you can go to the sports bar and watch (with the sound on). I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done. It'll be a great place to visit for a meal or a nice afternoon...
Read moreOverpriced food for what you get.
The food wasn’t terrible, it was perfectly edible, I guess, just not worth the above average prices charged.
For example, the $37 “350g” ribeye steak is really a sub 300g piece of meat once the excessive amount of fat and bone is removed. The cook on the steak was adequate, but was clearly cooked on a hot plate as opposed to a flame grill due to the overall lack of taste. I’ve eaten worse steaks in my life, but I’ve never paid $37 for one of them.
The Caesar salad was also disappointing. The amount of chicken you get for the $6 additional charge is decent, but the Caesar part of the salad was lacking. I’m not sure what the generic white dressing they used was but it was unlike any other Caesar dressing I’ve tried. For some reason the person assembling the salad through the appropriate place for the shaved Parmesan was the bottom of the plate as opposed to over the top of the salad. The result was that the last 25% of the salad was excessively stodgy with the clumps of cheese and the run off from the watery white dressing. I wouldn’t order this dish again. It wasn’t inedible by any stretch, just nowhere near great.
If you happen to find yourself at Wenty Leagues you’ll probably end up with an OK meal, but not a great one, and you’ll pay handsomely for the privilege. Definitely not worth making any sort of special plans to eat at this...

This happened on 11 Nov around 9:30 PM in smoking gaming area. The White tall guy and a new female
My partner and I have been loyal customers for several years, and we have always appreciated the friendly atmosphere and excellent service. However, during our most recent visit on [date of visit], we encountered an issue with one of your staff members that led to an unpleasant experience, ultimately driving us to leave prematurely.
While playing the pokies together, we were approached by a female staff member who demanded that we present individual player cards, despite us being a couple playing together. When we tried to explain that we were together and present and could play as such, the staff insisted that we could not do so, which felt not only unreasonable but also quite confrontational saying the husband needs to leave which sounded like she was trying to forcefully win the arguement. Her response was very abnormal and unwelcoming, especially considering we have been long time royal member.
There are the best female staff like Shannon which I mostly values, however the white tall guy manager (Matt?)always bark around the counter doing nothing and also worst service. I hope he learns just one at least from her whom hardworking and...
