XO Rolls — Restaurant in Sydney

This is an interesting cafe where you can grab a latte and a Vietnamese Pho in the same order.

Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic about their menu, as a customer this is something I always loved to see.

I give 5 stars to the service and 4 stars for the food.

Coffee is not bad, the Pho has room for improvement, bearing in mind that they are not a full fledged restaurant.

The broth is a tag strong, overly salty for my taste, beef are over cooked and a bit tough to chew, they also didn't put the spout on the side but had it inside the soup, this takes out the freshness and the snappy bite the spout supposed to bring to the Pho.

With that being said, I am comparing it to the Pho I normally get at a full fledged Vietnamese restaurant, which isn't fair, so I gave it 4 stars.

The food presentation is good, the variety and range of their menu is excellent, the ambiance is comfortable and self serving cups and water are also provided.

This cafe is definitely worth revisiting again if...

XO Rolls... is the best place to go to for the best Vietnamese food in Sydney!!!! Their food is extremely flavour packed and has absolute value for money. It’s a place where you would not be disappointed with whatever you order. It’s located inside a business centre complex and you would be deceived thinking it’s just another normal cafe serving normal food. We first tried the baos (they are three in a plate) and had the mocha with almond milk... it was THE BEST meal we have had in a very very long time... It is food for the soul. And then went back again to have the Pho ... that’s heaven in a bowl... it was just perfect for two people on a cold chilly autumn day. Leanne who owns this place is just as lovely and warm as the food she gives us... Dom and Desirae make the perfect team for the perfect place. THANK YOU LEANNE... We found our go to place!!! Wow, where do I begin?! I dropped in just to find out what the fuss about XO Rolls is and here I’m finding myself hooked for life. For goodness sake why do I have to live so far? From the moment you step in you can smell this top quality coffee aroma lingering throughout this lovely presented piece of jewel in Bella Vista. The respectful selection of Vietnamese and Rice-Paper Rolls is definitely to everyone’s liking and one would wanna try every single thing. Staff is as professional as it gets and serves you with bright smile noticeable even behind the mandatory mask.
