great to have organic farmers and being one myself (on a smaller scale) understand the hard work and, often, disappointments that go into producing non-chemicalized wholefoods. however, over the last four or five years i've noticed a drop in quality and unacceptable standards despite the increases in price of organic australian sunflower kernel. nevertheless, i have still continued to purchase until recently when i swapped to Kialla product because not only the quality was better but i got a sack of full sized sunflower kernels (eg what i paid for). four leaf has been using by-product (broken and tiny kernels which is a sub-standard product) to fill the balance of its first grade kernel sacks. if i was just feeding the zillions of mutated citizens, or using it to heat and eat, then maybe it's acceptable but when one is farming and consuming for nutritional purposes one requires the full seed. most of my purchases are for my organic flock which don't eat the bits and tiny kernels (resulting in a huge amount of waste); plus, incidentally, neither, do the wild birds want it so there must be something missing - i've heard wild animals (untouched by the mutated human) have a better choice for what is more nutritious). good luck on changing your product to how it was before the bits bloated the bags. it is unacceptable standards for processed faktori fodda businesses to reduce its product weight and increase its prices so it should definitely be unacceptable for organic wholefood producers to add by-product to their first grade items and expect the same or...
