A small-ish, yet very friendly cafe. Service is with a small town smile. Clean venue. Food cooked quickly and to perfection. In fact, the best chips (fries) so far found on the island. My only criticism is that the roll for the egg and bacon roll could have been bread baked from a local bakery and not something mass-produced from the supermarket. I asked the owner whether he would recommend the flat head and chips or flake. Although the flake was more expensive he said his preference would be the flathead and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Overall a real pleasant ‘find’ after a visit to Port Arthur.

For the time I spent in Port Arthur area, I wish I could have gone to this cafe more times. I came here to try as many others have great reviews and I was not disappointed. All food was cooked fresh to order and all the staff were quite friendly. Keep eye on opening hours. As currently they are closing earlier than what's shown on Google times. Whether it's because of winter or covid downturn. Not sure. But aside that, I'd definitely recommend. Support the local businesses. Especially in the more remote regions.

Very friendly, helpful service. Our fish and chips were great. The batter on the fish was crisp and crunchy just the way we like it. Will certainly visit again in the future and will recommend to our friends and family.

Me & Hubby had lunch here yesterday 4.11.17 Fish chips & Salad for $12 each, absolutely beautiful, the Flake was huge, loads of chips and the salad was beautifully presented in a seperate dish 😍 We ordered a seperate jug of mushroom gravy just for the chips & that was also delicious 😋 We decided to come back later for dinner & get a couple of takeaway Pizzas as we were staying at a friends shack in White Beach. The lovely young lady advised us on their time of closing and the best time to call in advance to order pizza so it would be ready and we wouldn’t have to wait 👍 Pizzas were ready bang on pick up time, were hot fresh & delicious 😋 The service here is spot on, happy & friendly and fantastic food Will definitely be back Nxt time we stay at White...

This was my first time at this cafe since the last occupiers left. The layout out of it has changed a bit with a minimal shabby chic decor. The first thing that struck me was the warm welcome from cheerful staff members. I had the egg and bacon roll , it was way more than what you would expect with cheese and mayo in a beautiful pitta bread roll. My companion had the beef burger and once again much more than just a burger with a generous pattie that was NOT loaded with spices. We both had a large cap which was nice and strong and creamy. The parking areas around are easy to access and not at all crowded. The prices were fair too. This is one place that I most definitely be coming back to when...

As an American I am often on the hunt for a proper chicken burger. After living in Sydney for many years and eating many disappointing and over priced burgers, I am always hesitant about what constitutes a 5-star burger, let alone even ordering one. I have to say this was the most delicious burger I’ve eaten in ages, absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced in flavor. So yummy. Plus, shoe string fries brought me back to memories of In&Out

*Note: this review may be biased due to the fact that we literally just finished the Three Capes Trek and landed at the peninsula cafe with very hungry stomachs. That being said, it is a gem of a spot and deserves lots of love from travelers...
