Sadly the food here is not great, its not awful...just not great, the fish and chips tasted old like they had been frozen....Its pretty sad when a place like this sells frozen fish products in Tasmania.....The pizza was a complete disaster. we asked the girl for no onion TWICE and she acknowledged this and she took our order, we got the pizza and checked it and it was covered in onion, we then went in to complain and the girl treated us like we did something wrong and didn't take any responsibility for her mistake. The other lady there was ok... and recooked the pizza..Sadly, I ate a few slices of the pizza and started to get sick, I'm not sure if they did something to the pizza because we complained....but I was terribly sick for hours after eating it. I did recover...but...I wont be eating here again....
I DID NOT ACCUSE you of doing anything to the pizza, I am only questioning if you did and based on your extremely rude and disrespectful response to my review I am now starting to wonder....ALSO I am within my rights to write MY review whenever I want! YOUR food was the only food I ate all day and it made me extremely sick to the point of throwing up for hours. I will choose if I contact you by phone, I will choose when to write my review!
YOU served terrible food that made me sick, you clearly wont take any responsibility for it. The public can clearly see what type of people you are based on what you wrote. I will be looking into my options about a report...
Read moreWhat a delightful experience we had at The One Stop Shop today on our Tasmanian holiday adventure. From the moment we entered the shop you felt most welcome by the happy Team who were very busy but went out of their way to please with good old fashioned service in a family friendly casual atmosphere. Such an excellent variety of refreshments hot and cold with fresh and cooked food including pizzas, seafood, Turkish and more to satisfy all budgets. Eat in or take away - no worries. We dined in enjoying delicious Gozleme and salad accompanied by a beautiful glass of German Pinot Noir served by the owner who is passionate and most knowledgeable about the wines/beverages available including a great range of Tasmanian beverages. His wife was also most attentive and took time to have a nice chat. Highly recommend a visit to this great place when in Geeveston. You won't be disappointed. With thanks again and all the best for the future. From the happy travellers, Claire...
Read moreOne Stop Geeveston is a real find- we had the best gozleme served with a generous salad that I have ever had. It’s warm inside on a cold winter day and they have so many amazing ciders! Top marks for stocking so many of Tasmania’s top ciders! I was gobsmacked at your range! There was some beautiful wines and such a tribute to Tasmania’s best spirit, wine and cider producers. My husband was blown away that he could also have an amazing craft beer! We will be back we were really impressed! The owners are hoping to gain a licence that allows them to sell take away craft cider. I hope the authorities give them that licence because tourists like ourselves would love to buy additional as take away. It helps the local economy. In addition I believe they are flying the flag for Tasmanian grown and made. The service was great too. Thanks for helping make our day memorable and special! We will...
