Great campground if you’re looking for a spot near Cradle Mountain with a hot shower (like us!). Dale is a legend, he runs the campground and coffee shop on his property, and charges $20 per vehicle per night (for 2 adults). There’s plenty of space for your car/van and you can enjoy beautiful mountain views and a freshly made coffee in the morning :)

I had a lovely breakfast on my way down from Cradle Mountain. Highly recommend this place for people who depart from the mountain early in the morning! (It is easy to park.)The lady at the counter is very welcoming, and their toastie is really yum! πŸ˜‹ (Ham, cheese, tomato, and onion is🀌🏻) I will be back whenever I come to the mountain πŸ’š

Only open from 8-12, but there's also not much else around the area selling coffee. Cute little place with eating in or takeaway available. We only had coffees when we visited but they tasted great [and that's coming from Melbourne ;) ]

A great pit stop before heading over to Cradle Mointain. We were heading to the park for the whole day and I'm so glad we made a short detour to come to this place insgead of going to the only cafe at the Cradle Mountain Visitor's Centre (which can be much more pricey).

The place has a rustic vibe to it, like a lodge in the woods. It has a nice deck for sunny days where we enjoyed our brekkie (we had the scones and coffee) in peace and quite. Apart from the cars passing it is quiet.

If you are heading to the park for the whole day or planning to take something for lunch to have have while hiking, I recommend the 'salad sandwich' which I'm not sure is on the board but it is a step up from the basic ham and cheese sandwich. We really enjoyed our sandwiches while overlooking the views...

Reviewing the campground, not the cafe. For $20 there is one toilet/shower combination so whenever someone showers, it's not possible to use the toilet. There is no drinking water. When we stayed, there were over twenty people staying, so you can imagine the congestion. Not only that but the bathroom was very dirty. It didn't seem to have been cleaned in a long time. The camp kitchen is nice but again, everyone squeezed in there to get out of the cold and wind and it wasn't really working for so many people. There was no sink which seemed a bit odd. I think they need to either do better or charge less. It's less value than we got for $10 in...

A fantastic place to grab a bite. Best coffee in whole of Tasmania πŸ˜Šβ˜•. The scones were great too. And the jam was super delicious πŸ˜‹. Very friendly and courteous staff. There's a lot of seating space both indoor and outdoor. The location is very scenic and picturesque. There are facilities available for freshening up. However, you will love the display items and the little details of the interior. All unique and interesting 🌟. There are books/magazines available to read that you can grab while sipping on your coffee and learn about the history of Tasmania 😊. A...
