Love the place, food was just right for us and the views of the lake are tranquil and charming. First we reserved upon check in and mentioned to Jenny at Reception that we were celebrating our 30th wedd anniversary. We were surprised when we came later for dinner that she even gave us complimentary drinks when hub ordered a pint of dark ale and prompted me to order a drink too. Was just hoping to have a glass of water as I had a cup of tea in our cabin. Thanks very much Jenny for that extra attention, much appreciated! Food cane quickly, my chicken and corn soup was very tasty and got heaps of chicken pieces! Never have I eaten so much chicken in a corn soup. My husband's large Supreme pizza was really a generous serve and he shared a slice with me, he urged me to get more but I am not really a big pizza eater. It was good though, full of juicy ham, pepperoni, gooey cheese and crust is crunchy too, not so thin or too thick, just right. Maybe we'll have dessert at the cabin later, much later, I got so very full. Thanks again Jenny and staff, we'll see you for breakfast tomorrow!

Breakfast was great, hub loved his panini with bacon and egg and I had the toasted croissant with ham and cheese. Our coffees were top notch! I also shared the kids' pizza with my hub, so fancy and sweet!

Dinner on our second night is sppt on for hub as he ordered Fire breather pizza, but small size as his large Supreme pizza last night was huge and he over ate, as usual! Tried this place on a fluke passing by, did not regret our life choices. Amazing view over the lake, delicious food at the right price, and fantastic service from staff. We had the periperi chicken pizza and the steak sandwich, both of which were great, and left with more than half in boxes for dinner.
