Tullah Tavern — Restaurant in Tasmania

Words just don't do justice to this wonderful quaint pub nestled in the picturesque Tullah. We were warmly welcomed by the proprietors and made to feel like part of the family almost immediately. The food was out of this world and bought to mind dinners at grandma's home on a Sunday, and the burgers .... oh my! I'm salivating just thinking about it! Easily beats any burger I've had in Melbourne hands down. The roaring fireplace, art and locals only added to the wonderful ambiance of the place. I've never been so comfortable in a place before and am looking forward to returning...

This place feels like a home away from home! Angelic Angela, vivacious Val, delicious Di or George will make you feel welcome and comfortable. Fantastic meals, Val makes the best pumpkin soup in the world, (according to me), and reasonably priced. Accommodation is basic but clean and warm. The locals are friendly and have some great tips on what to see and do in the area, also have fascinating stories on the history and characters of the past. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, warm open fire, cold beer, good company, great meals, i would recommend this Tavern...

Highly recommend this place. I arrived late on a wet, snowy & cold night. I was staying at the ‘other’ hotel in town & the restaurant there was choka’s. I called the Tullah Tavern to see if they were open. The lovely female staff member said no but then she said I’d be happy to help you out though. She cooked up a wonderful burger. Whilst I was eating another 3 x guys walked in & ordered food also. The gorgeous female staff member cooked for these guys also, even though the kitchen was closed. Pure class imo. Highly...
