Jajjikari Cafe — Restaurant in Tennant Creek

Great variety of food and treats. The taste of the food and drinks are great. I can't fault them. But the cafe is no way a match for cafes in bigger cities or even towns where the customer service is top notch, spot on with being able to alternate a minor change in the order to suit the customer and providing speed too.

I was once told by someone who'd previously visited the cafe that their service was a bit slow even though the person only ordered a coffee but I decided to try the cafe despite that but wasn't prepared that the baguette I ordered would that that long to come out.

A couple, who were people of colour and I (we were the only people of colour to place an order at the time) were the first to order but our food ended being the last to be brough out and between ourselves we had just ordered a sandwich and a baguette. Something I deemed not complicated to make.

Whilst I looked over to a couple of those who were served their meals before us, though they had ordered after us and their dishes seemed more complicated than what we ordered. So it seemed they had prioritised them and their orders before ours. 🤔

The eggs for my bubs were meant to be scrambled eggs and well cooked for a child to consume but instead got sunnyside and undercooked eggs. Though, they took it back to recook them a second time but whilst eating the eggs, they were still undercooked. At this point, I was tired of whinging less I be know as that 'customer'

Pros Variety of tasty foods and drinks Great open spaces Great atmosphere (minus the flies which is a Tennant Creek thing when it's warmer/hot)

Cons Long wait time Inexperience customer service but they were willing to learn and tried to be responsive to customer needs Parking is just a tad distance from the cafe. Best place in town for breakfast or Lunch! We dined here several times over our 5 week stop over in Tennant creek and could not fault the food or service! They are absolute legends!
