We have been dining here for over a year, usually once a week. We enjoy the pizzas, always with extra garlic, and sometimes anchovies, and happily pay for the extras. But tonight we were told no, no extras on pizzas. When mentioning that we’ve always ordered extra garlic, we were told, quite unsympathetically, “well we don’t do it now “. Well tonight we didn’t enjoy the pizzas, we didn’t enjoy the blase service, and we didn’t enjoy the arrogance of the kitchen that believes their pizza toppings are sacrosanct. Having run a pizzeria ourselves for years, we have no sympathy and won’t be back, until the management returns to providing good...

What a hidden gem. Found this place by chance. We were meant to stop in Grafton but couldn’t wait so pulled into the public toilets and drove pass the Ulmarra Hotel. Thought it would be nicer to grab a pub meal rather than stopping at a fast food chain in Grafton. We entered the pub and were directed out the back to order food. It opened up to a massive grass area and a beautiful view with a great seating area on the lake. I don’t think it was over priced. The potions were massive!! I had the chicken schnitzel which was amazing and the orange and poppyseed cake for dessert. Yum yum! Will be stopping here next time I drive...

What a beautiful place to be. This hidden magical gem really deserves a visit. A great place to stop just off the pacific highway. The river views breathtaking. Toilets cleans with baby change facilities and one is accessible. Plenty of space for kids to play and when we came they gave us free activity packs for the kids. Staff are so nice. Food is great too. The highlight is the dessert cabinet. It's recommended to book a table in advance as it's often busy, and if the weather is fine be sure to request an outside table to make the most of the...

Been visiting Ulmarra Pub since 1954 as a boy with parents. Remember the TV Series "Fields of fire " being shot there. Lots of history. The new express way by passes the pub however a short scenic detour delivers the delicious Ulmarra Pub the Brushwood "Brushy" Pub and the lovelly town of Maclean. Ulmarra pub stay the best it just feels good and a smart rooms refurbish. Food so good open fresh dining area. Real popular book in. We'll done Patrick

Found this perfect spot as a place to eat and stay on a recent trip. It's a short drive off the highway and well worth it for this beautiful location next to the Clarence River. For dinner we shared a pizza and kids had pasta, with drinks from the bar. The hotel rooms were very good value, simple rooms (including free WiFi, TV, fridge, milk, cereals, yoghurts and apples) with shared bathroom facilities.
