Title: The Everlasting Charm of Stewart's Restaurant It's not every day you come across an establishment that consistently delivers on both food and service, but Stewart's Restaurant is one such place. I have dined there multiple times over the years, and each visit has been a delightful culinary journey I'm eager to experience again and again. Todays experience at Stewart's was nothing short of superb. The star dishes of the day were the gnocchi and the salmon, each a testament to the restaurant's commitment to high-quality ingredients and precision in preparation. The gnocchi, soft and pillow-like, was a triumph of the chef's ability to transform simple ingredients into a dish that brims with comfort and satisfaction. Each bite was a heavenly mix of tenderness and a melt-in-your-mouth sensation that has been etched into my memory. The salmon, on the other hand, was an exploration of elegance and balance. Paired with the restaurant's unique potato mash, it was a dish that showcased the skill of the kitchen team, not to mention the fantastic use of produce. The salmon was cooked impeccably, delicate, with its natural flavours enhanced, not overshadowed. Mum also enjoyed here Salmon. With a nice glass of Moscato. An unexpected delight was the accompaniment of steamed vegetables, which were cooked to perfection. Each vegetable retained its natural colour and texture, providing a fresh contrast to the other elements on the plate. During our meal, I couldn't help but notice the high teas being served at other tables. They looked fantastic, drawing appreciative looks from passersby and approving nods from those indulging. The array of pastries, sandwiches, and teas promised an experience I am looking forward to exploring on a future visit. Stewart's staff are a brilliant team whose attentiveness and warmth add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. Their efficiency, knowledge, and friendliness elevated our time at the restaurant, adding to the overall allure of the place. After the meal I indulged in a flat white, while Ness enjoyed an English Breakfast tea and mum enjoyed a Latte. In a nutshell, Stewart's Restaurant continues to charm with its impressive food, professional staff, and inviting atmosphere. It's a place that sets the bar high and, in my book, keeps surpassing it with every visit. No matter the occasion, a visit to Stewart's is a guaranteed culinary delight.

I am extremely disappointed with my whole visit to Stewart’s Resturant. I was a guest at a pre booked high tea for a baby shower on 10th July. $45 per person! On arrival, we were not greeted by staff. When contacted by the host we were informed of a choice of a glass on arrival, Prosecco, moscato or a glass of soft drink. We were not offered, simply a glass of Prosecco was placed down, in front of everyone, including a minor and a pregnant lady!! The layout was wrong and we were shoved into one corner, all squished up, in the dark and was very warm. When our food was served, we were given a run down of what was included. The food, was not that great. We asked if we were able to have some other options of milk incl, lactose free, skim. We were told no, we don’t have any other milk option here. The tea was 2 x tea bags in a pot, not even loose leaf tea. Jam supplied was sour Cherry, that if we were not informed about, we asked for a normal jam “strawberry” and were once again, told no. The staff did not once smile, and any question that was asked was seen to be a big deal, either with a sigh or an eye roll from the staff! Once coming to the end of our meal, the towers with remaining food, we’re taken and discarded of, the staff were asked politely if we could take the remaining in a container and they said $1 per container per item. LASTLY! I purchased a bottle of moscato that cost me $38 at Stewart’s, to which I found online it is $5 at Aldi! NOT IMPRESSED. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I hope my review is seen by others. All guests at the party were completely dissatisfied and disappointed. I will be sending a formal email to the owner as I feel it was a waste of money and time, the mum to be was very upset.

Recently had a lovely dinner date at Stewart’s on a Friday evening and was very thankful for the lovely waiter accommodating my request to change tables :) The venue was warm, cosy, peaceful and had a really relaxed vibe even as it started to get busier. Service was fine, though our wine bottle could have been provided with an ice bucket as opposed to just sitting on the table. Also we topped up our own glasses, so it was perhaps a little DIY than what I had expected. Our meals were great. Though if you do order the beef, and if you’re asked whether you’d like a “fat or thin” piece, opt for the fat. My “thin” piece was reminiscent of minute steak which was disappointing. Also make sure you let them know how you like your meat cooked, as I failed to mention this and wasn’t asked, so my minute steak was sadly also over cooked. Regardless, we both enjoyed our meals and the value was exception. I ordered the Arancini which was amazing, the steak and a creme brûlée. He ordered a soup, the fish main, and an apple and rhubarb pudding which he said was great. The Nikola estate white is also a must try. Happy, friendly service helps and the value was very good. Would recommend. They also have what appears to be an amazing high tea which I will return to try at a later date.

😣😣😣😣😣😣😣Please improve your menu and decorating skills just spent a dissapointing 45 bucks food 16.07.17 glad we didn't order too much absolutely awful ciabatta should never ever be cooked in oi! Chicken wings very slim and not tasty sweetcorn fritters so easy to get right yours so unpleasant chunky doughy and hardly any sweetcorn left majority and the jam was not chilli jam more runny tomatoes why dont you replace your menu to an italiano palate???? It needs one in the swan consistant cooking with a pleasant thought out menu very easy to do even have a wood fired oven and offer stone backed ciabatta pizza etc the decor fits ok with this Italian theme although plenty of deco to be updated and livened up as soooo bland and boring not bright enough and no ambience fairy lights candles can do so much for a sunday outing and garden needs improvig too at the back..... if you expect returning locals to spend their hard earned money you need to think of your client and not do the minimum as i would rather return to mandoon, Houghton, cavillery etc than return to Stewarts please let me know when you have turned all aspects 180 degrees. When your waiter can't even ask how your meal was you know that they know they are failing. save your money until they improve their ways so fed up with lack of inspiring restaurants in swan area heads down and re think you are wasting money opportunities and more importantly...
