Akita Sushi — Restaurant in Victoria

Service by order taker polite. Service by order giver was just politely 😐 Food is overpriced for what you get! $22 sushi bento absolute rip off, not value for money- four mini slices of salmon was only ok! The amount of seaweed salad was taking Japanese minimalism too far ! Kudos to the person who got 12 minuscule cubes of daikon out of one slice ! The two bowls of Tori don were like none I’ve seen before and I’ve seen some! Rice( with an Asian cook) was undercooked and the chicken overcooked that’s some feat indeed. The gyoza was ok . The fact that they do not give extra serves of soya sauce is ridiculous, I’m sure they cost nothing to produce. Sadly the little fish shaped soya was so ridiculously watered down another amazing feat! The two tablespoons of packet miso soup was not difficult to get home as there wasn’t enough to spill, luckily it tasted just like a sachet would taste.. $62+ later and I would not give this place more...

Rudest place I've ever had the displeasure of seeing across ballarat. The food is okay at best but not great, but what really grinds my gears is the disgusting attitude given by the staff every time I've been in there. They say theyre open til certain times but refuse to make anything from 5pm onwards. The speak to customers like we’re filthy foreigners, and show a poor amount of hospitality considering their industry. If anyone else opens a sushi place nearby, they’re guaranteed to put this place out...

It is... Okay... Ish. That's it. If your expectations are low, you will get fed something that is not especially good, but also not actively horrible. Everything was pretty bland. The place was the opposite of busy but service was still me'h. I was literally down to my last two bites of food andvhad asked twice before they brought the pot of tea id ordered at the start. Again. Not ... Bad. Just not...
