Anerie General — Restaurant in Victoria

Finally this cute cafe has been turned into a good one! After being a local holiday resident for years, this store has changed hands multiple times and was often not great.

Pleased to say it is now one that is consistently good and we enjoy coming here again.

Dog friendly and lovely outdoor area to sit. Food is YUM and coffee is nice. Menu could be a bit more diverse but understandable.

My only feedback would be for staff to seat patrons in the peak summer period to prevent people sitting at table configurations that don’t maximise customers. For example we attended as a family of 6 and were unable to sit as couples / groups of 3 were occupying the large long tables instead of the...

Food was tasty and good quality however very small in size and extremely expensive for what it is. Will not be returning for that main reason.

Experience wasn’t good. They forgot one of our meals. The waitresses were teenagers and were mindlessly walking around like sheep without a shepherd, it’s like they just got up, not wanting to be mean but they seriously need to focus on their job.

We kept having to remind them about never receiving necessities that you generally receive at a cafe such as cutlery, napkins and missing food!! We also waited over 1 hour for our meals when no one was around.

We stopped by Anerie General for breakfast after a light meal at our Airbnb, joining a friend who was already there and had ordered some food. The place felt very cozy and inviting, with a wide variety of breakfast options available. We ordered drinks—coffee, hot chocolate, and tea—while my son enjoyed a croissant.
