Coffee Central Moe — Restaurant in Victoria

In the interests of fairness and offering a balanced review, the coffee we eventually got was ok. If you're really into your coffee, as I am, you won't be wowed by great coffee, but it's passable. (As a former local, I found Tommy Brock was the only place in town to offer consistently good coffee).

After specifying I wanted a piccolo with only a small amount of milk, what I got was a ¾ full latte. When we pointed out this wasn't how I ordered it, and asked if they could remake it, they argued with us about what a piccolo is and isn't, and stubbornly made another exactly the same as the first and advised us "that's a piccolo". On the 4th try they got it right, but it was handed to us with a "that's not a piccolo".

I get it if what we asked for isn't how you would define and/or make a piccolo, but surely in this situation you make it how you customer has asked for it!?

3 stars for the (eventual) coffee 1 star for the customer service...

The atmosphere was brilliant, it was nice and clean but there was no onsite toilets, however I was lucky to find toilets within 200m of this place.

The service was quite good considering there is like only one cook and a few baristas out there as well as a packed café. Remember to arrive before 12pm for lunch or you wouldn't have a seat (I mean this isn't the weekend).

There is quite a small menu and at least there is a senior's menu. My Pop ordered something out of the senior's menu but wasn't a fan of that food item. But I ordered a Beef Lasagna with a Single Stack Pancake with syrup and bacon. The thing I was disappointed with the food was the pancake as it was rather tough. The lasagna is great but didn't look as appetising as the taste ended up being.

Overall, the cafe would have good coffee and is overall overrated. I miss the Amay café elsewhere, now I'm considering to go to Mia's...

WOW I can't believe the amazing quality, presentation and taste of my breakfast this morning, that was cooked at my local cafe, Coffee Central Moe. My eggs Benedict were absoulute perfection and I can't wait to bring other people here to taste your delicious menu. I had no idea that this Cafe in Moe Gippsland had food that tasted this good and seriously imagined I would have to travel a distance to get food that was like this. My best friend and I enjoyed sitting in the outside area and were delighted when the staff member asked us if we would like the outside heaters put on for us. The wait time was spot on, and our food brought out to us. Inside was where we ordered our meal, and we enjoyed our selves so much that we went back in to order our self a slice and a take away coffee. THANK YOU we will...
