The Corio Bay Roadhouse is a standout pit stop that truly lives up to expectations. Located conveniently with ample parking, it caters exceptionally well to both truck drivers and everyday motorists. There’s plenty of space for trucks to pull in and park with ease, and designated off-street parking ensures hassle-free access for cars. Inside, the venue is bustling with a steady stream of tradespeople and professionals—a sure sign of a trusted food destination. The menu is impressively extensive, offering a wide range of hearty meals that are clearly made with freshness in mind. The high turnover means ingredients are used at their peak, and each dish is presented in an appetising, appealing way. While the prices aren’t bargain basement, they’re entirely fair considering the quality, portion sizes, and consistent execution. The coffee was a pleasant surprise—well-prepared and of solid quality, perfect for that mid-journey pick-me-up. Cleanliness was also a strong point, with spotless toilets and a tidy kitchen and counter area, which helps instill confidence in the overall hygiene standards. Perhaps the most notable feature of the Corio Bay Roadhouse is its staff. The team delivers warm, friendly service with a clear sense of professionalism that stands out even during busy peak periods. In summary, Corio Bay Roadhouse is busy for all the right reasons—excellent food, clean facilities, great coffee, plenty of seating, and genuinely friendly service. It’s the kind of place you’ll plan your future road trips around. If you find this review helpful, don’t forget to follow me for more honest reviews!

Visited today 23/5. I started surfing the West Coast in 1969, and CBR has always a regular 'must stop' for beach-goers heading home on Sunday and truckies who know good value food. Unfortunate that the Geelong Bypass has reduced passing traffic, but I will still make the detour and bring one back for 'wifey'. THE CBR BURGER (with the lot) IS SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING AROUND (including Melbourne) AND THEQUALITY IS RELIABLE. Real bun, great beef burger, egg, bacon, onion and all freshly made. Clean and comfy for dine-in and cheerful and prompt service even when busy.

This place must be an icon to locals, for very good reason. Salt of the earth in every way. The grab-and-go type food in the bain-marie looked SO GOOD (schnitty rolls, burgers, jaffles…) We got the mixed grill, the veal parma combo and two large coffees for just over $50. Unheard of. Service was fab, food even better. Just a humble and welcoming roadhouse that delivers exactly what you’re after.

Over priced, $14.99 for scrambled eggs with cheese!!

No toast, no bacon, no hashbrowns

Just $14.99 for plain scrambled eggs with cheese.

Walked out, went to McDonalds, 2 eggs with cheese, $4.99.

Good luck greedly roadhouse.

Edit after response from owner.

It was definitely your place checked the pictures on goole maps.

Visited on Sunday 12th September at about 9am.

Elderly blonde lady serving at the till,

I said I cant eat bread or toast, I just want 2 eggs with a bit of cheese on top, she then punched in the till a full breakfast, minus toast, minus tomato, minus all the other stuff and still charged me the same fot a full breakfast!!!

My wife also on keto diet asked for just scrambled plain eggs, and this women did the same thing, out total bill cane to $27,

I again explained to the women we just wanted plain eggs and cheese, she replied, "yes, I knoe, I have taken everything else off!!!" But NOT the money!!

Our idea was to support local businesses after Covid, we live 8 mins walk from your cafe, new to area and wanted to try it out.

We love eating out, about 5 to 6 times a week, you Sir have lost our custom.

In total, 4 eggs and some grated cheese came to $27 or so at your cafe, even after confronting your staff about it they insisted the price was correct.

At that point, goodbye, keep your very precious...

I actually am seriously sorry to be posting this review actually. I went into the cafe today, and was greeted and served by Maxine. She is 100% a beautiful lady, with an absolutely gorgeous attitude. My review, sadly, pertains to the food I received at this venue, and am seriously upset to be posting this review. I ordered 2 jaffles, 1x Hawaiian and 1x baked beans. Both were acceptable (if (very) bland). I need to mention though: this is the ONLY food I have eaten since the previous day. I am working night shift, and do not have a very big appetite at all. I have had nothing but stomach cramps and diarrhea since I consumed the food from this establishment at approximately 1600 yesterday afternoon. It is now 0800 the following day, and I am still suffering from the worst "runs" I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere of this venue is lovely along with the staff and the easily- accessible location. I would like to try this cafe another time, to see if things...
