As a regular consumers of chocolate eclairs as we traveel about in NSW a d Victoria, those made at Herbert's Bakery are well above average ...Possibly the best we've eaten. The pastry was light but perfectly baked. The cream was lovely texture and applied generously. The chocolate on top was also generous and light. All round, it's the best we've had . The salad sandwich was delicious and plain meat pie was very tasty. All round, if your nearby, give this place and your. palate an opportunity to meet. The service was excellent too. Well...

I had a chilli (actually more like a chilli con carne, it had beans as well as meat) pie. The pastry was great, forget the stodgy generic pie pastry you get at most bakeries, and any of the mass-produced garbage, this was crisp and tasty and just right. There wasn't a lot of actual chilli in the pie, but it was pretty good all the same. If you're not a crazy chilli-head, it's probably spot on. For a hit of capsaicin, it would need some hot sauce. Hard to go past for...

Very friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is beautiful and fresh and there is so much variety. I would highly recommend the salad rolls ...they are value for money and so filling. The hours of operation are perfect for everyone, and the staff are so hard working but they all have a friendly smile on their face no matter what time you go in. Keep up the great work! Highly...
