The most unhelpful hungry Jacks that I've been to in Australia so far. After travelling full time I go too hungry Jack's or Macdonalds pretty much every morning of the week. I used to go to angry Jack's at least 90% of the time. They're always keen to help and be smiley and they're usually great. I love being here in the morning for my start of the day.
Hungry Jack's usually finds solutions if they can't do things like if I want my senior's coffee and I've ordered stuff on the app as there's nowhere on the app that you can order the Seniors coffee.
Therefore staff have always told me too just go to the counter and we will get it for you so long as you've made an order online. This has been the case wherever I travelled around Australia.
No problems at all.
I probably reviewed more hungry Jacks travelling around Australia than any other person, including sending thanks and information to Chris Green.
This morning 27th August 8am the manager refused to give me my senior's coffee even though I'd already made an order online. I have been receiving my senior's coffee like this from this restaurant for the last 2 weeks. I've attached my photo. Other staff will verify that I've been coming here a lot. Instead of finding a solution and helping me as a customer that comes into this store most mornings for the last 2 weeks I had the most unpleasant experience. I didn't feel like that I was wanted as a customer or valued as a person. Please empower your staff to make decisions and to solve problems, it was a very unpleasant experience. 10 Oct. Went back in today because I can get a cheap feed for $5 on the app. As the pensioner this is important. Anyway, the app wasn't working. I showed the girl at the counter what I'd like to order and asked if she'd be able to do it manually. She said she couldn't so there was no solution except to buy something for $9.95 which wasn't what I wanted anyway. Please empower your staff. This place is really poorly run compared to most hungry Jacks and power to start to be solution orientated instead of just shrugging their shoulders and saying I can't help with that or I'm not technologically able to do anything with the app. Fortunately this time one of hungry Jack's own customer saw me sitting there trying to get the app working for ages and somebody had given him a double order for free and so he gave me his food. Now that's the type of service and beauty of humanity...

I went through the drive through today at approximately 2:00pm and was served by the most disgusting level of customer service i have ever received. I had pulled up to the window and was not even acknowledged by the person on drive through. the girl just stuck the eftpos machine out the window and slammed it shut once i had paid. (no worries i understand that things can get overwhelming working in fast food) I waited over 10 minutes for my items (2 drinks came first, i had ordered 3) i asked if both of these drinks were normal coke or if one was the coke zero i had ordered. I was met with complete silence so i asked a second time if these were both cokes in which the window was slammed shut in my face. A few minutes later the food came out and the window was slammed shut again. By this point i was already appalled by the lack of customer service this team member clearly does not have. As i still had only received 2 drinks out of 3 i kept waiting to which the team member came back over to the window and said very abruptly “is there something you need”
I responded with “yes, my coke zero which i ordered” only for the team member to tell me i did not order a third drink… (which i did at the speaker but maybe if she had repeated my order back to me i could have corrected her before purchase)
She slammed the window again in my face when i went to respond to her and came back shortly after with my third drink. did not say anything at all and went to close the window before i stopped her.
I told her that if she does not have basic communication skills then she should not be working in a job which requires her to serve face to face with customers. She then cut me off by repeating “you did not order a third drink”. I responded with “if you had done what is required of you within your job role, which would be to acknowledge the customer and repeat an order back to confirm purchase it could have been avoided from the start” she then slammed the window again so i drove off.
In all honesty there should be some conversations within your staff to ensure that they are doing the BARE MINIMUM with customers especially in a role that is customer serviced...
Read moreWe visit here regularly to get snacks for our kids, and we end up regretting it most of the time. Yesterday we drove through the drive through and were ignored at the box where you place your orders, so we drove through to the window. The 2 girls inside were busy talking between themselves... I sat there for 10 minutes as they continued to ignore me, but looked at me every few minutes. I honked my horn a couple of times to which they still ignored me, so I knocked on the window, again they just looked over at me and ignored me. Knocked on the window a few more times (now been sitting there for 15 minutes). Girl slowly walks over and opens the window and says they are not serving the drive through at the moment as they are too busy. They did not serve a single person the whole time I was sitting there. I asked her why couldn't just have come to the window 15 minutes ago and told me that, but she just said "Yeah we're busy' then closed the window and continued talking to the other girl. So bloody rude, no customer service. Orders are always stuffed up. We ended up parking and going into the cafe inside next door to hungry jacks. This store gives Hungry Jacks a bad reputation and it's beyond me why management or the franchisee owner doesn't do...
