Where do I start? As soon as we walked in there was no one to be found, we waited a solid 5 minutes before anyone showed their face to greet us (we had a booking). No smile or "how are you?". Thought we would push on however, in hindsight, we should have walked straight back out. Being vegans (wait, wait don't hold that against us haha) we just asked for the fried rice with no egg or meat & a singapore noodle dish with no meat. We asked if we could get a combination noodle dish but without meat & the waitress said yes so we were looking forward to sharing our meals. First the noodle combo came out & looked great from first glance but underneath the sauce was a literally a crispy burnt lump of noodles. When our next dishes came out (much later) we showed the waitress who basically rolled her eyes & took the plate away. No apology, no mention of how it would be remedied... then the (i presume) owner woman came out. Said "you people are never pleased. I cook in vegetable stock for you people!" Umm what the hell do you mean "you people"?! We said the noodles were literally black & clumped together but were told that's how chinese noodles are done. No honey, that's not right.. at all. She berated us for another few minutes & by this time our dinner was getting cold so we said "please dont worry anymore.. just take it off our bill because if it will come out the same we are not interested thanks" then heard her screaming in chinese & slamming around in the kitchen. Then we get to the rice- it had black hairs in it!!! We (regretfully) showed the waitress who yet again could not have cared less! No apology or anything. They were obviously happy when we left straight after the meal. This is basically a public service announcement to let everyone know to steer clear. I can make better at home wothout being charged $20 per meal! Oh & they give out soda in cans.. no glasses or straws. Decor is awful & bathroom is filthy. Just...

The food is amazing! Just a side note on customer service though, the few times I’ve been in there waiting to pick up my order, the girl has been at the table on the phone, hangs up, the phone rings and she answers it, and this happened about 3 times in a row last time. I’m still a customer, even if I’m not ringing. People can ring back, as far as customer service goes, serve people as you normally would, in the order they arrive. If you get off a call, serve the customer next that’s been waiting in store, don’t keep putting them off for...

Let's get back to basics, this place makes you feel like you are back in the 80s. You get great, friendly service. Reasonable prices and the food is bloody awesome. Makes you feel young again and that the world hasn't completely gone crazy. A bloody gem. They load you up and you don't walk away feeling ripped off. If a fantastic old Chinese feed is what you're after, head in. You don't walk away from many places these days...
