Lucky Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Victoria

A very disappointed adventure to this lucky or unlucky dragon restaurant. It is not a disabled friendly restaurant. There is a sign that states please wait to be seated however it took ages for us to be attended by Waitress. they don’t have many vegetarian options. The food took a very long time to be cooked and served. We were really famished. We waited for more than 30 minutes to be served with our dishes. Sweet chilli chicken with steam rice came out such a horrible unsweey texture chicken. Mine was really bland and tasteless. I asked for extra vegetables to be served however the vegetables were missing. I believe the chef do not have any vegetables stocked in his kitchen pantry.Although the Woolworths were next to them. If you want a change from pizzas, burgers or fish and chips this place is great option, it’s clean and nice. Flavours are varied and food taste really well. Most of local customers buy takeaways. Portions are generous, so if you want to try different plates, consider ordering meats, rices and vegetables then share with your trip mates.

During weekdays will mostly be the only restaurant open in Yarram after 5pm or at least during Christmas season. Also be prepared to wait around 25 mins till the order is served but...

Incredible food! The service staff were under 18 so alcohol could not be served but they are BYO (any alcohol not just wine) and corkage is $3 per person flat rate rather than per bottle/can. The chicken dishes were all white breast meat that was cooked to perfection, moist and tender and full of flavour. The dishes were not greasy or oily and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. Very highly recommend this restaurant! Wish it was closer to home so I could eat...
