The place was nice, service was good and nice coffee.

The food is really underwhelming that wrap with a well written menu. From the foods that were served on our table, it tastes more like cooked by a chef that has lost their passion for food than those amazing ideas displayed on their paper menu.

Myself order the middle eastern bowl, it was really middle east, it dry as those desert. Falafel, and chickpeas was over fried. Beetroot hummus has non beetroot taste and rather like hummus with red food colouring.

We also order the baked egg. Egg wasn't baked but pan fried and sit on top of this bowl of tomato mixture. We could not locate any chorizo.

Ordered fish and chips for our little one. First fish came out with a rather dark colour battered. They fixed it immediately but it should not have served it in the first place.

Overall, everything was good but the taste of foods and the careless of the foods from their chef. If you are looking for photo of foods that will get your "like" on Instagram, this place has it, but the taste is way far away from it's looks on paper or...

Service: when ordering I stated we would be sitting in the park and was told no worries we will bring it out. Unfortunately they did not bring it out and when I went back in to check how the order was going, was told by a different server a)they had looked but couldn't see me and then by yet another server b) they don't take coffee to the park. That is a totally acceptable rule, however when I ordered I was told different and on different occasions I have had coffee delivered to the park. So, in future I would double check with whomever serves you that they no longer take orders to the park. The coffee was nice as was the biscuit . Edit: in response to business comment, everyone has been hit by the pandemic, going out for coffee is a luxury I afford myself on very few occasions. To expect a 5 star review from everyone isn't realistic, I was honest and recommended customers clarify in the future and that your coffee was...

Madem Espresso has been in my list of coffee roasters/cafes that I have wanted to visit for a long time.

Went there this morning for brunch with friends and it didn't disappoint.

Started with a double shot espresso of their West End blend and it was delicious.

Our group all ordered different items from the menu and everyone thought their food was excellent.

All of the coffees were great so we ventured back inside to see what we wanted from their variety of available coffees.

To be honest, the choice was bigger than expected but they have QR codes on the shelves that lead to part of their website that helps to choose a coffee based on what highlights you prefer from the beans and what style of coffee you predominantly make.

Highly, highly recommended for both coffee snobs...

On Monday the 8th of July, I stop in to get my 3 children and twin babies warm and to feed one of the babies there bottle. Well because how lovely the place was, the workers and manager was so kind and help full. We stayed and ordered food. The lady who helped me was so sweet, I thank you a lot made my day. We stayed long enough to find the second twin. My kids then packed up there toys and we rang a taxi to go home. Well taxi never came and it was freezing out side with very young babies, I asked if it be ok to come back as to they where closing, they said that was fine. One lady tried ringing and booking another taxi for me. Then she grabbed a extra blanket for the baby as she was a bit tired and sad with the long wait. I definitely will be going back. 100% lovely people

Best coffee in town. I want to love this place so much more, it has so much to offer with its west end location and light-filled space, but I find the service has let me down too many times. Service is predictably slow - there’s one pace here regardless of whether it’s peak hour or not, how busy they are, how many staff are on, whether you’re ordering takeaway or eating in… always friendly, but never in a rush. The menu satisfies with the usual trendy cafe options. Great locally roasted coffee beans available for purchase.

I could smell the roasted coffee beans a block away and was drawn to check Madem Espresso for breakfast... and I'm happy I did. Cool little place with a relaxed vibe. Great selection on their all-day menu. The staff were friendly. Service was fast. Strong espresso as I hoped. Their big breakfast was delicious and well-presented. Reasonable prices. Check them out!!
