McDonald's Ballan — Restaurant in Victoria

This was probably the worst McDonalds experience ever!

The food was so bad that I felt sick. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger tasted like it was from the night before and reheated. The chips also tasted like they were old and reheated. They tasted like I was eating cardboard. I can not understand how anyone can get chips so wrong! I also had a coffee - I ended up throwing it out, as it was awful.

As if the food wasn't bad enough, the customer service was appalling. The person who took our order at the drive-thru was a male. He gave us no greeting and wasn't very helpful. Then there was the person who took payment. She did not greet us or say goodbye. Instead, she held out the terminal for payment and didn't even look at us. The person who gave us our order said nothing. She had very short hair with purple colours through it and was wearing a mask. It seemed like everyone who was working today (11/06/23) was devoid of customer service ability. They didn't even provide napkins. I have never seen maccas that bad before.

we went in around 8-8:30 last night. The girl serving us was clearly distracted by her co workers and at one point stopped listening to what we were saying and picked up her phone. This same girl also had her hair out, ate two burgers all whilst still handling fryers/ packing meals and taking food out to cars parked. She was wearing no mask, didn’t wash her hands between eating, going on her phone and handling food. Multiple staff were going on their phones at the front counter and had fake nails/lash extensions on which in my experience isn’t allowed in the food industry. They were standing around doing nothing but gossiping and saying inappropriate things. It sounds made up when I write it out but we witnessed this all whilst sitting down trying to enjoy our meal. It is disgusting, if my staff were acting like that in front of customers I would be incredibly embarrassed and disappointed. Do better. No one wants to see staff laying against the front counter you pack food on, on their phones and smashing their gob. It feels gross and extremely...

I’m not one to complain but after many trips with stuff ups I decided to write a negative review. Each time we go there the wait time is insane, some of our orders have been big which makes sense why it would take awhile however for small orders (sometimes even two drinks) takes ages. This is the only maccas between ballarat and Bacchus marsh so you would think they would try to be as friendly and fast. However that is not the case. The employees aren’t always friendly, occasionally there will be a nice employee serving us but for the most part they are rude and seem like they don’t want to be there As for food, by the time it gets to you it isn’t hot anymore. They always forget half our order which gets really annoying especially having to spend extra time trying to find a park and then going inside when the whole point was to go through the drive thru However I think with a lot more training in many areas they have the potential to be a really...
