Ordered ahead on My Maccas app to then arrive to press Drive-Thru for pick up however there were posts to block off Drive-Thru with no explanations/signs. I then had to drive around to entrance and go inside store (all this during lockdown) to then ask about my order where there was no apologies but told Drive-Thru had been closed because of not enough staff. This is definitely the first time this has ever happened at any business I have been to or heard of. Drive-Thru should have been the last service to have been shut down/closed at any business especially during another COVID Lockdown. I then had to go through my order all over again to then have problems with codes not scanning on app several times trying. This whole visit was unfortunately one of the worst I have ever experienced at any business. Without any adequate reasons, apologies or what should be then offered some type of compensation etc I was left with a terrible visit on what was a terrible time already. (One little bit of good was the male staff member did offer to help carry my order out to my car unfortunately I said no and sadly to...
Read moreMcDonald's Geelong Bypass is my go-to spot for a quick pit stop on my way home from Warrnambool, and it never disappoints! The location is super convenient, with shared parking available alongside other fast food and take-away options, as well as a nearby petrol station.
One thing I really appreciate about this McDonald's is its wheelchair accessibility. With accessible kerb access and dedicated parking close to the entry, it's easy for everyone to enjoy a meal here.
The service is always top-notch, with staff who are both professional and friendly. The interiors are relatively clean, considering it's a shared space with other businesses like Subway and a cafe.
Whether I'm in need of a caffeine boost or a quick snack to keep me going, McDonald's Geelong Bypass has got me covered. It's the perfect spot to refuel and recharge while...
Read moreMid evening chomp on the way home and the food was abominable. As everyone knows, McD's is not 'restaurant' quality chow but it'll take the edge off a couple hours drive. Unfortunately, the burnt, dry and well-below the lowest acceptable standard, barely recognisable food, served only to turn a simple jaunt down the freeway into a humdrum stupor-mortis that coalesced with the sweats and a bucket once home. For the love of all that is good in the world, avoid this cesspit if you can.
As an aside and to be fair the handful of staff that were there, they were absolutely PUMMELED and the owner should be ashamed and embarrassed for creating this hellish landscape and subjecting their staff and the patrons to it.
In summary, the worst Maccas I've ever been to and I've been to...
