This was such a lovely surprise on the drive home from Daylesford back to Melbourne! We didn't expect an 'open' sign late on a Sunday afternoon but popped in just in case there was a chance of a cup of tea. The lovely owner made us a big beautiful pot of earl grey and served us wonderful scones, warm from the oven, with jam and cream. We each chose a handful of treasures from among his genuinely curious curios, and checked out his beautiful photography on the walls. An odd thing to add to a review, perhaps, but I also loved the toilet with walls absolutely covered in poetry and other words of wisdom and nonsense!
