Decent little bakery located in the heart of Mount Beauty. Your classic country town bakery serving a nice selection of pies, cakes and baked goods. The pies and sausage rolls were nice enough however nothing jumps out with flavour as the pastry is as average as the fillings themselves. The pies themselves were cold after being left on display for a while. Although the bakery can get busy, most items can sell out reasonably fast during the lunch hour which can become inconvenient if you're a traveller looking for something to eat before the long drive back to Sydney. Overall, the cakes, pastries and breads are flavoursome enough for a local bakery but it could use for a bit of revising to perfect and master the bakery classics with some more flavoursome texture and better quantities. A spinach and feta pastie was opted for which proved a great choice. Rather than a regular pastie this was made from puff pastry folded to encase the spinach and feta which produced a great lunch.
