We stopped at this place on our way to Murray Bridge with my parents in laws visiting from Italy. The place was busy as there was a cyclist event going on, and that might have been the reason of the incident that occurred. We were in the queue and while my husband was ordering, I was taking orders from my in laws, which do not speak English. It could have been that they were a little bit undecided, but the blonde lady (sorry I don't know the name..) was dealing it really well...until another lady (the manager ??) stepped in and in her broken Italian scolded us as we were first grade school children. She must have been grumpy for the overload of customers but that is not an excuse for her rude behaviour. Read moreJust rang to place an order, the kid on the phone sounded high as a kite, everything is WAAAY over priced... $1.20 for 1 calamari ring...and $6 for a half dozen bread rolls... Like WTF? haha the chips are $4 min but they don't tell you how much that is, then he said just order the $1 amount you want.. Which still doesn't tell me how much I'm getting. Went across the road to the really lovely lady at the bottle shop/ general store and she was amazing, and her prices were pretty bang on for a small town (not greedily over priced but priced with an affordable premium. Read moreI went there yesterday and was not planning to buy any food, but the sausage rolls draw my attention. They were made generously size-wise. Grabbed it, paid and left the shop! I sat in my car and had a bite, oh, it was the most delicious sausage roll I have ever had. I had go back in and get the second one! The nice old chap in the shop is a respectful man and he said the local bakery supplies the rolls....
