After reading the reviews, I had really high hopes for this place. We ordered spring rolls that were delicious and then we had the fried rice that only had a lousy 2 prawns along with cauliflower and broccoli in it - never had that in all the Thai places I’ve eaten at. We had the bbq chicken as it sounded like our favourite Thai dish and it came out and was so dry and covered in a yellow spice that it was inedible so we left half our food behind. Thoroughly disappointed with the dishes here. After reading reviews we were excited to have some good Thai food. We started with some Curry puffs, which were quite delicious and some roti, which was a bit dry, but paired well with the accompanying sauce. Our main dishes however, the massaman beef and satay chicken, were very average. Thin watered down sauces with dry, chewy meat. The massaman is not slow cooked, so the meat is not tender and the satay has very little flavour. The coconut rice was fairly good, but could not save the meal. I would not recommend Real Thai...

Dinner tonight was lovely!. First time in Torquay so went by the reviews. And didn’t disappoint, these guys went above and beyond to make sure my 3yr old was happy as they don’t have prawn crackers on their menu and she’s obsessed. They went and organised some especially for her! Meals were large and out quick we had way to much left over so they were more that accommodating in providing takeout containers. Price was good and...
