CURRY POINT BELL PARK by Bezawada Babu — Restaurant in Barwon South West

We arrived at Biriyani king for lunch and we were the only patrons in the restaurant during the time we walked in, sat down to eat and left. So the staff only needed to look after us and any take away orders they had coming in.

Upon arrival at our table we found a glass that had not been washed properly as there was a lipstick stain on the rim of the glass and a fork had herbs stuck to it. The service itself left a lot to be desired and their drink menu didn’t accurately reflect what they had in stock. We ordered drinks first and after 10 minutes following this the waitress took our food orders. We waited a further 20 minutes and no drinks had arrived (30 minutes in total). Finally the waitress told us they had no moscato, no Canadian club, no king fisher beers and no double Jacks. One person at the table decided to settle on a Corona and the rest of us just drank water. We also asked for more water once we ran out and the waitress needed to be reminded as she forgot to bring us more water when originally requested.

The food was delicious but questionable. I ate chicken lollipops as a starter and when they arrived it felt as though the chicken was room temperature. Not temperature hot like fresh food should be. However I persevered and ate it because it was nice tasting but hindsight 20/20 I should have already left and not eaten as what followed was horrible.

Later that night before dinner I started to get stomach cramps and decided to skip my dinner as I wasn’t feeling well. Things escalated from this into severe abdominal pain and discomfort. To cut a long story short I ended up getting very little sleep and spent most of the next morning in the bathroom feeling extremely unwell spending too much time I’d like to admit on the toilet.

Unfortunately after my experience at Biriyani King I would suggest anyone else reading these reviews to stay clear and find a different Indian restaurant to dine in.

EDIT: Please be very wary of this business, their responses to critical feedback is abhorrent and should make you think twice about visiting here. I am writing to express my disappointment with the food I had at your restaurant during my recent visit. As a regular customer, I have always enjoyed the food and service at your establishment. However, on my last visit, it seemed like the management had changed and there was a new menu.

Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the same dishes that I have had before, but the food was not up to the usual standard. In particular, the biryani was so bad that my companions and I were unable to eat even a single spoonful. It was a huge letdown, especially considering our previous positive experiences.

I strongly recommend that you address these issues with your kitchen staff and take steps to improve the quality of your food. As a customer, I expect to receive food that is fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my recent visit.

Based on my experience, I advise others not to visit your restaurant if they want to have a good dining experience and save their money. I hope that you take my feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve the quality of your food and...

We went there last sat for lunch ordered veggie biryani and veggie curry , nan bread and mango lassi. But the one who took our orders, as soon as we walked in she was on the phone till we tried to order. She was the only one on the floor with blue hoodie on.

She asked me take the menu when we entered which she supposed to hand over to our table.

Also, we ordered veggie curry with veggies biryani. She put chicken curry instead of our dish. That's fine we ordered again veggie curry. When the foods are ready to serve, this waitress she put all the food to our next table. She absolutely doesn't know how to serve. We were the only customers at that time. Not even busy.

And let us move to our table. They don't even know how to serve customers.

Foodwise, it was below average. Biryani was too salty, lots of msg on every food, had to drink lots of water after our meal till before we go to bed.
