Shamrock Hotel Elmore — Restaurant in Victoria

I love a good pizza. I've eaten pizzas from any place all across Victoria. However. The pizzas here are firmly in my bottom 4 experiences with pizza. I knew it wasnt going to be a good pizza the moment i picked up the pizzas and they were excessively heavy. Weight is the first sign to a bad pizza. The base was the edible part that was nice. Quality of ingredients was cheap stuff (ham, chicken) which had no taste and full of water. Hot salami was not what hot salami should taste like. The salami had a slight sour taste. Probably close to use by date. Overloaded with ham to the point it's not cooked much although the base and top are ready. Personally I do not see how the previous reviews said "great pizza". I purchased my pizzas only because of the good reviews. So this review is true and honest to the experience we had. We will not be purchasing pizza there again. On our recent trip to Echuca, my husband and I made a quick stop at a local pub, and we were beyond impressed. We ordered a Chicken Parma and Satay Chicken with rice and salad, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The Chicken Parma was perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, while the Satay Chicken was rich in flavor, with a beautifully cooked portion of rice and a fresh, crisp salad on the side.

My sister and I stopped at the Shamrock Hotel at Elmore on our way home to Melbourne from Echuca. We had a meal each and they were absolutely superb. I had the Honey chicken salad which was beautiful and my sister had the crumbed chicken breast prawns in a beautiful sauce.
