The Royal Mail Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

Recently visited this café and was deeply disappointed with the experience. I ordered a vegetarian Feta Spinach Pumpkin Veggie Wrap, only to find salami inside—a serious mistake for anyone with dietary restrictions or preferences. When I brought it to their attention, the response was far from apologetic.

To make matters worse, the male staff member exhibited a rude and dismissive attitude, which added to the unpleasant experience. This is a small cafe attached to the hotel in a lovely little country town passing through Victoria on the way to Bendigo & Melbourne. My mate and I stopped in for a bite to eat. Freshly made bacon & egg rolls & and the legend who was working there stuck in a hash brown for us. Aside from an excellent and well priced meal, I visited on a public holiday at lunchtime and the cafe/bar were both very busy.
