The Windmill Cafe is a hidden treasure that deserves all the praise! From the moment you step in, the cozy and festive atmosphere sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. I ordered the falafel wrap, and it was absolutely perfect. The wrap was grilled to perfection, filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients that balanced each other beautifully. The falafel was crispy yet tender, and the addition of the fresh greens was a refreshing touch. Every bite was satisfying and left me craving more. The real showstopper, however, was the thick shake . Served in a charming mason jar, it was rich, creamy, and topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream and cocoa dusting. It wasn’t just a drink—it was a dessert experience on its own! The cafe’s unique decor. The staff were friendly. If you’re looking for a place that combines fantastic food, indulgent drinks, and a charming atmosphere, The Windmill Cafe is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend...

On the way home from a lovely holiday. Stopped in Toora for a bite to eat, visit the many retail/op shops, gallery and walk along the bird hide/broadwalk. We ordered a toasted bacon and egg sandwich on sourdough, a hashbrown [not potato cake] and a small coffee. The coffee was cold and tasteless - the proportion of milk to coffee was far too much; the bread was hardly toasted - still white; the bacon was not cooked sufficiently, and it was difficult to find any butter/margarine on the bread - this made the toasted sandwich very dry, inedible and even though freshly made, it was cold. I would not recommend this very overpriced cafe. I would recommend the town with its many...

On the last day of our Rail Trail journey it was such a delight to discover this little gem on the the main street of Toora. The Cafe encompasses a few old shopfronts connected by a covered walkway. After an exceptionally windy bike ride we ordered a pie with side of chips....it was the best lunch under $10 on the whole Trail. The pies were home made and bursting with tender meat. Service was friendly without being fussy. A stop worth making if you're...

Plenty of seating options available inc. semi indoor and courtyard that surrounded with landscape and water feature. Foods selection is good too inc. light meals, coffees, drinks and dessert. Located in one of the largest historical building (Toora Bargain Centre) in town. Don't forget to have a little browse on some of the historical buildings on the street. Relaxing and cute little town.
