Bamboo River Restaurant — Restaurant in Vincentia

I'm a local and have a Chinese food loving hubby & son. This is by far the best Chinese available in the Shoalhaven!! I'm not big on Chinese, I love Thai; the Satay Chicken here is better than the one at my three fave Thai restaurants!!

All of the dishes are filled with fresh ingredients and an array of spices. Cooked fresh, generally really quick service even during busy periods. Extremely consistent, which I find to say about many local restaurants.

The setting is basic and older in style (something we're used to and aren't fussed by) but the club is currently being upgraded gradually. Clean, friendly service. Really happy with our meals each time. Thanks guys, great job!

You haven't been to a Chinese restaurant until you have been here! I would have complained about the wait. However I soon discovered why we waited three quarters of an hour. The chicken was straight out of the fryer and steaming hot with fresh honey on top. Everything was fresh out of the chefs pan. Chicken and corn soup was so fresh that the oil had separated into the corners for you to mix it up. It was amazing, I don't want to eat anywhere other than here for Chinese. Prices are moderate and fair. The alcoholic beverages served by the club are satisfyingly cheap.

Cheap eats at the Golf Club in Vincentia, NSW. Quite a large menu range with heaps of nightly specials. As is the norm for Asian style restaurants. Will cook to taste. I don't handle hot, spicie chilli's or curries and they toned it right down for me. I like the flavour not heat. Meals seemed to all quite well proportioned. Staff were all friendly...
