Long time local and this is my favourite beach in Jervis Bay and I've been to pretty much all of them. Small cove like beach, kind of secluded but still fairly close to everything, good amenities (bathrooms), also links to the Greenfields walking tracks which are beautiful, plenty of parking and has some play equipment for the kids as well as access to some small rock platforms and a little creek on the backside of the beach which is great for some exploring.
Fairly large beach for a small beach, I know that's a little contradictory but you'll understand when you have a visit, so even when it's busy there's usually quite a bit of room.
The main access is via a set of stairs which is quite an effort and may not be suitable for elderly, however if you have a walk throught the track adjacent to the amenities block it leads down to a track with a bit gentler access.

Read moreLook at the water, its pristine and the sand is pure white. Whenever I need a break I come here as they have a picnic area out the back, a shower and toilets. Then you have two ways to access the beach... Either a path that takes you directly there or you can hike up the back.
The water is divine, and if you time it right you can avoid the crowds. Also, if you arent satisfied then walk up the trails and you can find multiple spots that may be more ideal. No shops within walking distance so make sure you either pack your sbacks beforehand, or just drive to Vincentia Shops afterwards. Definitely an enjoyable experience - see you next...
Read moreNice beach with lots of things to see. You can walk the promenade with a monument of falen soldiers. Very interesting and beautiful made, it has the shape of a ship when you look closely. You can book a mini 'cruise' that brings you to 2 places in the harbour region. They have sparkling wines and cheese on board.
