Kooringal Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Wagga Wagga City Council

Terrible food and I can't believe people give this any sort of positive review. If you like Aussie based Chinese that isn't actually Chinese food then you might like it but this is some of the worst food we've had as a group. Even the steamed rice was dry and cold. The dishes were all gluggy, shiney and clearly full of MSG. Tinned corn and tinned champignons were the veggies with large diced carrot and celery. 3 different dishes that were all apparently different but all sauces are the same thick, clear, gluggy consistency with little to no real flavour. No fresh veggies in any dish despite us not ordering the deep fried Aussie specialities of honey chicken, lemon chicken or sweet and sour pork I'm sure the positive reviews here have eaten and are very far from actual Chinese food. The special fried rice had shredded pizza ham, no vegetables, around 3 small slices of spring onion and again no flavour. Simply terrible food that I'm sure is also terrible for your health. Do not go here if you want fresh, actual Chinese cuisine, without MSG, with vegetables and quality meat that hasn't been cooked to within an inch of existence. Me and my partner went here for dinner for my birthday. We were having a lovely meal. We chose 2 mains and some rice, all was good then I started feeling my throat swelling up. My partner asked if anything was cooked in peanut oil as nothing on the menu indicated that there was peanuts in it. The lady said no nothing cooked in peanut oil but the Mongolian sauce has peanut butter in it. No where did it say that there is peanuts in it lead alone nuts. I then had to rush to hospital where I was admitted straight away getting the epipen twice due to how much peanuts I had. This is very very dangerous as there are so many peanut/ nut allergies out there. The least the server could have done was give us the Mongolian combination for free but no she was to worried about how much it would cost to even ask if I was okay or to say sorry! Arrived wagga at 7pm (21/02/18) and soooo hungry after 15 hours drive from queensland...searched google as we wanted to eat rice and saw kooringal chinese online so we went and put our orders...20 minutes wait, but orders went out late(some things are just out of our control)...but it is all ok with us as we are craving for chinese. But they gave us free bottle of big coke and said sorry! We did not expect a freebie but a nice gesture to customers! And food was really yummy!!!!thank you!
