THIS IS NOT A FAMILY/DISABLED FRIENDLY PLACE! Kids Area: For 18 months now, the playground has been unsafe with screws sticking out, a slide missing. The gate won't latch and there are no lights for dinner time. Dinning Area: The tables are so close together you can't fit a pram/wheelchair through. Parent/Disabled bathroom: the heavy door is so small you can barely fit a single pram through the door with no room to move. Food: If you order mash and veggies instead of chips and salad, the portions become like kids' side meals & the 200g steak seems to be getting smaller. Ordering/Keno: If the dining room bar is closed, you have to order at the main bar, which kids are not allowed in, even if strapped in a pram, so you can't even put a quick Keno on. Good luck to the single parents Raffle: Great, friendly, supportive sponsors, but sadly only three meat trays are drawn, where other...

What a great find! After calling into another pub for a meal and finding that they really didn't cater for gluten free and the prices were well and truly up there , we drove on and came to the Kooringal Hotel. I must say we are glad we did! Staff were great. Plenty of gluten free options. Great lunch time specials with gf options. Great normal meals as well. Very large meals but the men were happy with theirs ( I think I may have a couple of entrees next time instead of a big meal , but I am sure I saw options for smaller meals as well). Well worth going to if you want a good meal.(PS the salad wasn't all lettuce, the chips were freshly cooked to perfection and the steak was cooked as we asked for.) Will definitely be back next time we are in Wagga. Highly recommend to families as well as there is a great playground there...

I ordered a rump medium rare with chips and salad, sat down at my table and the buzzer goes off, I thought wow, that was quick. Received my meal and the lettuce was brown and old, the whole salad was sloppy. The rump was very rare and the chips were just crisp. I took my meal back to the kitchen and the chef looks at me like I was being ridiculous. I said my salad is old, could I please get a new one. He told me to wait there, he walked away and returned with a small plate of the same pre made old salad, I returned my meal and got a refund because I had lost my appetite. Such a shame. The bar staff were polite and helpful so that’s why I gave a higher score for service. But they need a chef that...

Good food at this pub and lots of nice spaces to sit and talk as a family. Didn’t wait too long for the kids meals to come out either. The letdown is their playground. It absolutely is appalling and dangerous. From the stairs that have the rail hanging off, screws coming out of the equipment, sections boarded up and loose flooring panels, it is not safe for any kids. The poor design of the garden bed right next to the rails allows kids to fall as it’s not filled. I wish I had taken more photos, this playground really needs to be maintained. The gate to the playground is also broken open too. All in all, a major hazard. Parking available and untimed in the car park.

Overall good experience here. Cocktails were good considering it’s a pub - recommend the salted caramel espresso martini. Friendly staff and helpful when deciding what to get. Food was pretty good too - we opted for a few side dishes. Salt and pepper calamari wasn’t as good as I’d hoped, but the bruschetta was fantastic! Need to come back and try the pub classics. NRL on the big screen too! Great atmosphere 👌🏼

The venue itself is large and has a playground. It has toilets and disabled parking. The tables are often sticky and not clean. The outside seating is nicely set up and spacious. The menu is way to large and is extremely over priced. The food is hit and miss. Some is really good and some is awful. The drinks are average and the staff and not friendly at all.
