If zero stars existed this place deserves that. This is an add on to my previous review. as I sent the kids in to grab $20 worth of chips. Surely they couldn’t get this wrong now I need a please explain… how is that $20??????? This place is an absolute disgrace. I have added a new photo (Old review I still stand by) Always something with this joint and it’s finally our last. Which is a shame because it was our local. If it’s not a half eaten battered sav served to us. It’s boot leather bacon. Or rude service. The list goes on. It’s always something. Even clarified twice if the chips were crunchy only to literally drive around the corner and they’re not. typical. Right for the last review you guys will get from me and will be nothing but bad word of mouth from now on also. Thought new ownership would have sorted it but clearly not. Simple kebabs yeah? Thought surely they won’t mess this up. Yep I was wrong. As usual. One has beef, lettuce and cheese. one is beef with literally everything besides cheese. Can ya tell the difference? No probably not. For a $20 dollar kebab it had the minimum of everything with sauce being the exception. Should have just put them both in the same bag. Woulda fit. What a disgrace. Rob the people who have tried for years to support yas. Well this is the last time. Best of luck. Will be driving into town from now on. Also read the other 5 star reviews. Obviously people known to the owner and trying desperately to make the place look better than what it is. I mean look at the photo of the steak sandwich. I mean When have you ever recieved a steak sanwhich still sitting on the bench unwrapped 😂😂😂 fraud…..

“I had an amazing experience with the kebab plate here! The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, complemented by fresh sides and fluffy rice. The portion size was generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. On top of the delicious food, the service was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They truly made me feel at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great food and warm hospitality!”

With building signage outside to identify its name, this place is a great finf on the Sturt Hwy. I gotta agree with everyone on the burgers. I had the hamburger with the lot and it was excellent. Took me back to what true hamburgers were like in the eighties burger joints. The proprietor, Mark, is friendly and will direct you to his ATM when you try to pay by card so make sure you have cash.

Extremely overpriced. Literally any other takeaway store will give you a full of pack of chips for $3, but Red Mandolin will barely give you a hand full. This store is clearly capitalising on Forest Hill's distance from Wagga and it's disgustingly unfriendly and nasty.

WARNING - this place does not have eftpos and there are no signs inside or outside the store that mention this. The owner is lying to the community to get cash in hand and then expecting everyone to foot the $3 cash-out fee from the generic ATM at the front.

Everything about this...

Horrible customer service towards myself and my pregnant partner, we forgot our phones and when we asked if we could manually sign in on paper we were told "we don't bother with that" to then be told to stand outside. Food is very overpriced for what you get. Both of the employees were rude, arrogant and bossy. Not so much as a smile. Would NOT recommend but would highly staying away. Also no efpos but there is not a single sign inside or outside...
