Newland Bakery — Restaurant in Waikerie

I was watching the project last night and its so true that people can do a review thats not correct and hurt the business. Stevens review is not correct as he wasnt there to follow up it has been reported to Google i was one of the staff members on the sunday when stevens partner approached a staff member and asked for a first aid kit which was given to her and asked for a cloth staff member asked was everything ok she said a gentleman had tripped he was okay just a bit shaken when we slowed down steven approached the counter and had a go at us for not caring and not helping the gentleman and leaving him out there bleeding as i said to steven we where told he was okay.as hearing this i approached the couple and apologized as we weren't told everything a big thank you to the person who called the ambulance i sat with the couple and asked the ambulance to take him to get checked asked the wife if she was okay and if she wanted us to take her to the hospital we then rang the hospital later and they told us that he was fine but did sustain a black eye we cautioned the area where he tripped and haved painted the area in yellow caution paint the couple involved didnt have a problem with the staff and like said before stevens partner had told the staff he was okay stevens comment has been reported but like the project said it takes a long time for anything to happen and the damage has been done in the mean time and us staff members have been wrongly accused of not caring i would thank the people...

what did you like about it? nothing.

• bacon egg pie, do not buy. shredded ham is apparently considered to be bacon, two bites and done. •chicken pie, not bad. edible. •potato pie, potato spot on. mince was puss, 1 bite. even the sauce couldn't lubricate the dry mince. •ned kelly pie, shredded ham again. even bed kelly himself would have rathered not eating this pie and go another 3 days starving. •pepper pie, shitousse •cheese and bacon sausage roll, good until you bite into it. •ordered a coffee, was still boiling in my cup. had to drive to woman's and children's back in Adelaide for 2nd degree burns to the cheeks, tounge and hand. thumb is still hurting as I type this review. •Christmas decorations were real average • type 5 diabetes from the custard berlina • to top this rant off, drove past the view point cafe next door and immediately regretted even looking at the waikerie...

Terrible first experience today, poor service, bland food, won't be back. We arrived to only 1 customer in the store, walked in and it seemed as though we interrupted a staff gossip session because all was extremely quiet yet all eyes were on us from staff. We browsed for a minute at the drinks and then picked what we wanted, and then browsed over the food in the glass, it wasn't until after then we were greeted. The staff had no interest in welcoming us or explaining any of the menu to us. Went to order and was told they only had plain beef or chicken pies left although it looked like a lot of different variety in the glass. As we ordered it was clear we were somehow an inconvenience to the girl who served us because she kept asking 'is that it'? Anyway $26 later wasted on bland food and won't be back. The staff at Waikerie Bakery are much more nicer and the food is so...
