Set in the picturesque town of Walcha NSW the Walcha Royal Cafe & B&B Accommodation is the place to stop and refresh, with coffee to die for and the premisses is licensed ...great food and very friendly service, the facility has good accommodation and the setting is something one must see, it's a true tourist attraction. The owners have fantastically decorated with the decor of the 60's with both indoor and outdoor areas to eat and relax. Scattered through out the property are award winning sculptures and art works that will leave you with a memory to last a life time. Motorcycle friendly with covered parking in the rear, This is New England's western gateway to the Famous Oxley Highway that runs east to the coast and...

Have visited in the past when doing the Thunderbolts Way and really wanted to stay the night... This time I made sure of it and they did not disappoint! From calling ahead and the team leaving keys for our late arrival, to checking in on us, we were very well looked after. The rooms are cosy and the shared bathrooms are beat and tidy with the old school pub feel. The upstairs verandah was perfect for watching the storm roll though and adjoins the self help honesty bar and snacks. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, however when added together it's about the going rate of those that do. The cafe is super cool and eclectic with a strong motorcycle friendly vibe. Will 100% stop in again for a night when passing...

Completely overpriced, i was shoved in a tiny room with no air conditioning and no way to leave the window open for a little breeze as the window had no gauze on it, when a room was free down the hall. My friend and I knew it was free as we were not left two towels, only the one and when we asked where we could find another we were told to take it from the free room down the hall. Rubbish was left in our bin and tiles were missing in the bathroom, the cold tap didn't work in the hand basin. It is advertised as vintage and looks to be a unique place to stay and be among history. But it is just old and smells like dust, and is cluttered with random old stuff that has chunks missing and is littered with...

Wanted to do the Walcha Parkrun, so booked myself in to the Royal for the night. Lovely old pub. Rooms were clean, tidy and the services were great. The service was first rate. After Parkrun I had breakfast. Food was nice as I sat in front of the fire. There is a real country atmosphere at the Royal that I really loved. The surprise highlight was the roof art. I only found it because I was sticky beaking, opened a bathroom window and saw them. They look scary, so be careful when you point them out to the kids. Very nice country touch. Definitely the place to stay in Walcha.

We stayed overnight here and enjoyed breakfast the next day. Very clean, very friendly. Food is excellent, we would definitely stay/visit again. Toni and the staff are lovely. The room was very comfortable, loved that there was easy access to the verandah. The bathrooms & toilets are shared, they are extremely clean and plenty of hot water ❤️ Loved the whole experience.
