Bakers Delight Wallan — Restaurant in Wallan

Saturday afternoon around lunchtime, there were 3 customers waiting 1 being served, 3 bakery employees only 1 serving. The young man unfortunately got his customers order wrong and was asked to correct which he did, but at no point did either of the other staff offer to serve us customers waiting, apparently moving bread from one rack to the other or packing up something at the back was more important. I asked the team member why customers are not your 1st priority after 5mins of waiting she, was about to tell me something then reconsidered and offered to serve me. Im not sure why, but customers never seem to come first...

This review doesn’t reflect the hard working staff that have been employed that provide an absolutely amazing experience with their service and making it an overall positive experience while dealing with the store. You people are what keep it afloat.

As a customer, I cannot support a business that treats its employees so poorly. It reflects poorly on the owners' ethics and management style. No one should have to endure such treatment in their workplace. It's not just about customer service; it's about basic human decency.

Whoever is doing the recruiting and training for this store, keep them. Every time I shop here, the staff are an absolute delight. It’s like a breath of fresh air in this town.

The bread is delicious, and you can’t beat it for convenience when ducking in to the square for essentials.
