Country Cafe — Restaurant in Waroona

My family and I went to this place on the weekend.... worst mistake we could have ever made, the service was terrible we were charged for an item we didn't order (got refunded but not the point) paid over $80 for 2 burgers a "souvlaki" and a hot dog with just sauce and a sausage in abundance when the sign said bacon and cheese, and 4 drinks. the server had no customer service skills, the foot was so bad I wanted to cry the steak in the steak burger could be used as a chew toy for a dog the souvlaki was mostly sauce and lettuce I asked for no tomato and there was tomato in it the rolls were old and stale. I wish we left at the first sign of poor quality when we walked in at the person behind the counter was walking around lost ignoring the customers and the menu you couldn't even read because in was a laminated bubble you had to manoeuvre to read it. Won't be ordering from here again. Lady who served me was not friendly and rude she asked if I was vaccinated after I paid for my food, I had already told her it was TAKEAWAY and that I would WAIT OUTSIDE for my order. She didn't ask the people before me. Maybe put a sign on your front door saying wait outside to be served if you're unvaxxed that way the customers who don't wish to disclose their medical information and the unvaccinated know they aren't welcome. This place was a lovely surprise. The standout was the service- the two women working (10/10/17) were so friendly, even giving me iced water when I was breastfeeding (i hadn't asked). This is rare and so appreciated :)

The food and coffees came out quickly, the coffees very good and the food tasty (we had the eggs benedict croissant, rosemary & lamb filo, and brekkie wrap). The croissant was a standout, and our toddler loved the filo.

There is a playground plus a couple of ride on diggers, which were also a hit with our toddler. You can eat outside and watch the playground, so very family friendly.
