We were happy to find this place as it was all that was open on a Sunday morning! While not cheap, the food was delicious (steak sandwich + a bacon & egg roll) and coffee was decent (the cappuccino was a lot tastier than the espresso). Was a little disappointed to be told the cheese on my roll couldn't be put on the steak sanga instead -- I was then charged extra for cheese on the sandwich even though I didn't ask for it. Overall though, the staff were mostly friendly and the place was clean with plenty of self serve water and a nice vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town!

The Local 165 Cafe & Bar is a nice place for a quick stop between Mildura and Melbourne, if you are travelling around this part of Victoria. Rely on their Instagram page for the opening hours and updates on the menu. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Allergens are not specified, but in case of any intolerance you are always welcome to ask the friendly staff. Cross contamination cannot be guaranteed for gluten free items. I've taken an Egg Benny and a soy latte, and they were really good. Short menus like the one they have allow food to be fresh.

Yum Yum! A nice little gem with classy food for a regional town. A unique take on the bacon egg roll with a 'special sauce', comes with cheese that must be melted on the hotplate with the bacon and a fancy artesian style roll. Tasty coffee too. $21+ for large mocha and bacon egg roll, reasonable in today's climate. Nice seating area inside and loads of outside dining space. Must have been an old servo once upon a time.

Wonderful to return to Warracknabeal and see the evolution of this coffee business. I remember when it started as a pop up caravan near the Lions Park, now it’s a flourishing cafe in pole position on Scott Street. Congratulations. I called in yesterday with my husband (we are from Adelaide) & was greeted by big smiles and a warm welcome, we sat inside which was toasty warm on a very cold Victorian morning & the coffee was absolutely superb! They’ve never disappointed me whenever I’ve called in for coffee…..it is always REALLY great coffee. ☕️ And I so appreciate it! A big, big Thankyou to ‘The Local’ team…..we are very grateful for you all. Kristy &...
