Felt like a kid in a candy store going out to Whistlestop Cafe in Wauchope for lunch today. Ordered fish and chips and violet crumble shake for lunch today. Brought home some of the fudge to try. It was so hard to choose which flavour of fudge to get. Ended up getting musk, lemon, coconut caramel and the Halloween special (vanilla with lollies in it). They gave a free one (cookies and cream) as we ordered 4. So naughty with all the sugar but tasted so good.

Had one of the largest scones … never seen anywhere this size.. fresh cream & jam was good too. History of the timber people the things they used were there too . Sort of mini museum. Servers great & food delicious too.

We had the best fish & chips, and loved our banana milk shake. The Cafe environment is neat, clean, and relaxing. We 100% are happy with what we ordered, staff are very friendly as well.

Stopped in for a quick bite as we left Timbertown at its earlier than usual closing time (2.45pm) and found the staff absolutely fantastic. They told us they'd be closing in 15 minutes but we could still order hot food and drinks, if we didn't mind them cleaning up around us. We didn't want to trouble them too much so ordered hot chips to share, and coffee. The beer-battered chips were awesome and the coffee was the best I've personally had in the past five years I've lived on the coast. Would love to have stayed longer because the shop was spotlessly clean and as I said, the staff were wonderful as too the food and drinks. They insisted we weren't holding them up and were so pleasant, we could not thank them enough. Bought some Fudge to take home with us - it was pricey (4 pieces for $20) but was the BEST fudge ever. Hope to take the family back again in the future for a longer meal. What a great place and great people working there too -...

The his place was clean, quirky we all loved our breakfast, defo worth a visit and timber town itself was so cute and quaint.

We had the dog so unfortunately couldn’t sit inside so we sat outside but we had to sit an the rustic benches so we wasn’t blocking the wheel chair access (but love that they have wheelchair access) so also fine and the benches are cute but the only thing I thought was that they could do with putting some shade over those benches for the dog families to stay out of the sun wasn’t to bad being the morning and not to hot just yet, otherwise lovely friendly staff and delicious food, kids were obsessed with there Biscoffe Nutella pancakes.

10 out of 10 for our family of 4 and...

Do NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! The food was disgusting, the pies tasted like fish, the milkshakes tasted like sugar and milk.. absolutely disgusting. We also went to Timber town and most staff were extremely rude (besides the horse carriage women and train driver). We got over charged twice, was overpriced and it’s extremely run down. This was the worst place we have ever visited. We also went in the toy shop with 3 children and got spoken to like a dog, stating no one is to touch anything unless we buy it. NOT...
