Alkimos Cafe & Grill — Restaurant in Western Australia

The menu says breakfast is served until 2pm and at 1:25 was told that breakfast time has now closed.

I asked why when the menu says 2pm and was told that if you had called us we would have been able to as we can't prepare for that many people ( only 2 people at our table were ordering breakfast)

I let them know we had been trying to call for the past week to book but nobody was picking up the phone. Her response was the phone is connected.

Our food was then late and everyone else at our table had finished eating by the time we got our food. I got up to get a refund and was told it would be 2 minutes away and that they can't refund me but can get me a takeaway container instead.

I was not very impressed with the poor service. A shame as we had eaten here happily once before. We won't...

The Mexican loaded chips at this cafe were brilliant - the fries were nice and crispy, loaded up with melted cheese, salsa, and all the good toppings. Really hit the spot.

The service was spot on too, the staff were lovely and looked after us well.

The carrot cake was a real highlight, so moist and flavourful. Proper homemade stuff.

My banana smoothie was ace, thick and creamy with a great banana taste. And my partner's fresh apple juice was top notch, you could tell it was just squeezed.

All in all, we had a brilliant time at this cafe. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend...
