I was at your swan valley restaurant on Sunday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with my husband . After being seated at our table we decided to go outside for some wine tasting prior to selecting a bottle of wine. Where we were met by a very rude, unprofessional, foul mouthed member of your staff. I’m no prude but was very shocked by his language when asked what the F… do we won’t, and saying to other patrons, what the f…. Do you want you f…wit. Every second word was f…er, f….ed f….ing, Wow. We could only imagine how my elderly parents would have reacted had they been with us to celebrate our day. We retreated back inside. If it wasn’t for the fact that we had a gift voucher to use, we would have left the premises. We are sure patrons who were just calling in for wine tasting and perhaps a meal afterwards would have immediately left to go to a more professionally run business. Read moreLove this place!!!!! :D We went there just because we found this place on Google map and it has good reviews. It is in a quite area.. some other (maybe small) wineries around seem so dead, so you may not expect this will be a good place when you drive into there. But!!! It was way better than we expected actually!!! The staff are all friendly, and especially the two guys pour you unlimited wines for wine tasting are so nice and funny. They just keep pouring you another and better wines... just awesome!! I loved all the white wines.. shiraz.. and the fancy ones with some kind of honey taste.. (i forgot what they were.. i think i was quite drunk by the time i was tasting the good ones.) Also the food was great too!! And we loved the place more because it’s quite and peaceful. Definitely we will go back there soon for lunch again.. and get some of the...
Read moreMy wife and I came here on a Friday lunch. We had a great time and everything was on point: Service, food, and scenery. We were warmly greeted and ordered three plate to split between the two of us plus a couple glasses of wine. We had the Snapper, polenta croquettes, and pulled pork tostada, they all were super tasty and good sized and we argued over which was best. We then decided we had just enough room for a sweet and some coffees. We had the caramel slice which was the perfect amount of richness and sugar to go with our well made caps. On top of it all we got to sit outside in the beautiful garden terrace overlooking the vineyard and enjoy the tranquility of the sun, birds, and quiet pastures. Overall we had a great experience and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone stopping by in the...
