Beldon Tavern — Restaurant in Western Australia

Had a beer thrown over me and refused service over an hour before close by staff.

Lovely evening with my father night before Australia day, playing pool. Few games with a group of Irish guys and girls, great night. 8:30pm the bartender calls last drinks, we finish our beers and go to get another round at 8:40. bartender pours half before declaring no that's it and walks away, take our beers and go. She follows us around the bar and forcibly takes them off us, not letting her take our beers she then throws them over us and screams to leave. Two locals or undercover bouncers force us to leave, this is 8:45pm mind you having an 8:30pm last drinks for a 9:30pm close.

Great atmosphere. Great crowd. Absolutely the worst bar staff I have ever experienced. 8:30pm last drinks 8:40pm too late with a 9:30pm close night before a Public Holiday then having a beer thrown over me and physically thrown out.

I love local (Craigie) and I can say with certainty that thanks to the staff present Beldon Tavern is the worst pub in the northern suburbs, avoid...

Looked forward to long awaited return to The Beldon for a good pub meal. What a disappointment it was . All 3 meals tasteless and uninteresting , overcooked and dry . Horrible skinny little chips were barely dunked into the fryer - most unusual - as they have always had THE best chips around... Crispy, golden and oh so tasty !!

Was close to closing time so only a couple of customers. The extremely friendly and happy bar maid was named Shelby. She is an absolute asset to this tavern. Another friendly staff member with a lovely smile and good recommendation on the Alby beer on tap ( which is a tasty WA beer at a very reasonable price) was a professional polite lady named Kath. The venue was clean and had lovely outdoor heating in the smoking...
