Unfortunately not a great eating experience this time round. Known it in the past as having provided flavoursome, well presented & large portions of tasty food on many previous occasions. This time was disappointed with the food being doused with dressing that totally overrode all the other ingredients & flavours in the dishes to the extent I needed to drink water to get rid of the bitter after taste. Not pleasant. One of our group ordered pizza that definitely did not taste how it should. Feedback was definitely conveyed to them about the pizza & refund received so no issues there. The salad had large chunks of sugar-coated nuts which was a big turn off. TBH - for value, flavour & the fact I usually enjoy the food I eat, I will not be going back because this time I found the food lacking in all of the above. Last night, 9/7 I visited Cappi for the 3rd time in 18 months and was again not disappointed. Tomahawk steak with veggies, salad, garlic prawns and off the menu, fried mushrooms at my request. I tip my hat to the chef and the girls for their effort in serving a fantastic meal and creating a wonderful experience.

9/04/22 - follow on- mushrooms was added to the menu. Brilliant. I’ve been here a couple of times after and brilliant every time!

But tonight, disappointment. Menu changed for the worse.

No veggies, no mushrooms and the bloke serving me, tells me they’ve never done mushrooms before. Very sad...
