Chicken Treat Australind — Restaurant in Western Australia

After waiting in the drive through tonight (14 feb, 2024 around 6:30 pm) for a decent time, we came to the speaker box served by an amazing girl, afterwards when we got home we realised we were missing a 8 peice of chicken box and two large chips. So we tried to call up to start with, no answer. Then we went in store and explained our situation to the same young girl who proceeded to talk to her manager. Who then very loudly said he doubts that’s true. After some awkward silence he went and got the chicken but threw it down in the warmers, not like it’s food like it was a ball game. i am very unhappy of being accused of lying about something like missing chicken. not happy. drive thru 15 minute wait until order even taken then another 10 money taken “told won’t be long @ another 10 minutes fir simple 1/4 chicken and chips i am not one to complain but told understaffed ( manager won’t roster on more staff). i counted 5 on not efficient workers taken orders were not given to cooks who providing orders quickly you don’t stand at the register putting through documents like doing end of day tally when cars backed up and driving off orders to be filled !! note no customers inside !!! once home after 2 minutes away from 40 minutes wait to cold chips and dry tasteless chicken not even worth one star good enough won’t go again and definitely will not recommend get act...

After a cool 20 minute bike ride from home, my wife and I ducked into Chicken Treat in Australind the other day for what has become a regular treat for us on such outings... and more especially on wintery days. Being old fashioned ( knocking on 85), I generally just stick to chicken and chips as a warm up snack but I came close to trying a chicken burger for a change... then chicken'd out at the last minute. (pardon the pun) Anyway... it was a great and much appreciated treat which topped off a lovely wintery day bike ride along the lovely coast road from Eatin.
