Came in on a Sunday morning (which is their busiest time so do make a reservation!) just to try their coffee. Was greeted by amazing staff and immediately help me find a seat with an area to accommodate my electric scooter. Ordered their Sunday pancakes and a large flat white. Gotta say.. the pancakes were amazing and aesthetic. Each layer were buttered evenly. Surrounded by strawberry jam, biscuit crumbs, nuts, yellow jelly (don’t know what it is but it’s good), mint, and topped off with a nice scoop of their vanilla gelato. Each bite was just perfect with no signs of any uncooked batter or dry/ burnt areas. Flat white was great! As a specialty barista point of view, it was only slightly over extracted. it was a busy day for them so I honestly can’t say much but good job! Temperature was there. Interesting flavours such as dark chocolate and malt-like were noted (don’t know which beans they use but would definitely have it at home). Very nice and bold bodied taste aswell. Overall, amazing experience. Would come again for their pancakes and pastries 😍

We arrived at about 9am I think. And it was PACKED! But we managed to get a seat thankfully. I had to line up for about 5 minutes to place our order. And when I tell you, the food and drinks came around in literally a BLINK OF AN EYE! I almost got whiplash with how quick it came out 😂 The quality was there too! Next time I might ask for my bread to be toasted a little more though! But wow. The speed on this cafe combined with the quality of how it came out was second to none!! 😍 Also side note: the cost of the iced drinks seems fairly low which I was excited about! But the large size glass that my partner received with his iced latte was on average kinda small! I highly recommend bringing a larger reusable cup if you like big drinks! (Obviously you may pay extra if the container is as big as my Yeti tumbler was, but I have no problem paying extra!) Highly recommend this gorgeous little spot!

Absolute gem! Love fika! It's our favourite cafe. Service is fantastic, shout out to Connie, Joel, and Novelle (hope that's right? 😅), absolute Legends (we miss you Jack, Ben, and Brit!)!!! And of course Mel, the fabulous owner, the most lovely, friendly cafe owner I know! They have a standard menu with favourites and then a seasonal menu as well!! Currently the Chipotle beans and Angus Burger are front runners for this season's top dish!! And if you don't know it, Mills Park playground is the best around! Super chill atmosphere, City of Gosnells Park Play activities, "Kenwick" Library, skate park, basketball courts, soccer and cricket pitches, and a huge footy oval are all within 2min walk of the cafe (the kids nature play area is literally right out front of the cafe). Superb food in a fantastic location with most excellent coffee! Needs 10/5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟×2

We arrived just before 2 and were told we could still order food and so we did. I ordered the Big Breakfast which was ok but way overpriced. Any reason why your big breakfast had no mushrooms when mushrooms are a standard standard for a big breakfast. The butter was hidden under the scrambled eggs too. That was odd too. We were actually enjoying our meal until one of the guys came up to us and pretty much told us "you can have a takeaway container or leave it......" so without any option, my husband went to get a takeaway container from the counter and asked them why they bothered taking our orders if they weren't going to let us eat? You guys had the audacity to deny what the guy said to us! And the lady was rather rude and apprehensive. I get that you wanted to defend your coworker but without knowing what he said you can't just take his side! You did eventually come and apologise to us which was gracious of you and told us you would have waited for us to finish our meal. But by then we'd already lost our appetite and packed the food which would be going into the bin shortly. Your Google listing does say close at 3pm so that was misleading too. We've been there a few times before and had much better experiences then. This time we're left with a bitter taste, waste of money and won't be returning.

1 star for the eggs. They were actually nice but shame I wasn't allowed to eat them. 1 star for the lady...

I was there with my bub last week, ordered a large latte, the barista made me an iced latte. So I told him I ordered a hot one. Then he turned around said something, the lady staff who took my order then laughed and said (literally right in front of my face) who would have hot drinks on such a hot day! No apologies for taking the wrong order, not refund for the price difference. It’s absolutely disrespectful. Same lady staff, I was there about 2 months ago with my families, 3 adults + 1 baby (required high chair), she refused to give us a rectangle table and asked us to sit at the tiny square table outside right next to the entrance (when there are plenty of tables available). The table was very shaky and unstable. So we moved to the table on the left. Later this staff walked pass and said to us really loud, who let you sit at this table? I told her the other table was broken. Then she said you just need to ask me, I can fix it. Then she insisted to move us back to the previous table. When our meals came, we don’t even have enough room to put all the meals and drinks on the table. Lucky the staff who brought our meals, helped us moved to a bigger table. The experiences I had with one particular staff was extremely terrible. If this cafe is not located near the library, I will never ever...

I have come here quite a bit and was really disappointed today by the service and attitude of one of the baristas.

We had a hair in our eggs, which we took out and ignored and then found a hair in our coffee about two sips in after the foam dissolved a bit, which I told one of the women working outside about and she told me they would make another one. I followed her in to ask for it to be in a takeaway cup as we didn’t want to stay longer and then the barista started questioning me in front of several people about how that hair ended up there and how it wasn’t possible, whether we had a pet with us (we didn’t). I didn’t come here to get questioned or to be made to feel guilty for finding something in my drink. Why would someone lie about a hair in their coffee. I honestly have no words, it felt like I was a little kid being questioned by a school teacher- ridiculous.

It’s disappointing that I don’t feel comfortable coming back here again with my family. I really loved this place for their friendly staff but being questioned like that is just awkward and extremely unpleasant. Despite the several friendly staff members, one can leave a really sour taste...
